Hotel has plenty of free parking, an indoor pool with hot tub, and a small fitness center if you're into that sort of thing. The staff wasn't the most friendly bunch, but it's hard to blame them with the current strained Canada / U.S. relationship. We are living in crazy times for sure. Do take note all Hhonors Diamond members: your $10 per person credit benefit is NOT VALID in the pantry and only on continental breakfast. We learned this the hard way after dropping $20 on sodas and snacks. It works different in Canada than it does in the U.S.A. I'd stay at this hotel again if I was passing through the area. I felt my room was 1/2 renovated with missing towel hooks in the bathroom. The draws in the dresser was lopsided and need caution when using them. No USB ports anywhere in the room. Hotel staff should be more mindful of guests coming down bare foot, it's inappropriate to be around food and others bare foot in a public space in my opinion. The one drawback to this hotel is that it advertises a bar/restaurant but they weren't open on the weekend. After a long day out it would have been nice to just be able to come back to the hotel for dinner and not have to go back out to get food.

My sister was arriving before me and 3 of the nights were under my name. She let one of the employees know and he was able to assist. The day after I arrived, I went up and told him what i needed and was told, he'd already seen me downstairs and was already working on the change of the reservation. The front desk staff were so friendly and helpful, probably one of the best instances of customer service I have received. The room was exceptionally clean and even though cleaning was only supposed to be every 3rd day, the first two mornings they clean the room and even laid all of our personal belongings very carefully and neatly. My son's stuffed animal was neatly placed on top of nicely folded sheets, he loved it. After that we made sure to put the door hanger on the door so they didn't need to clean for us. The room had a full size fridge and a nice freezer, dishwasher and plenty of cups and utensils. The bathroom was stocked with TP and facial tissues and plenty of towels. The only thing that kinda bummed me out was the bed was sagging badly on one side and it caused me to keep rolling into that divet when I slept. Also, the ice maker on floor 7 did not work, so the next floor that had an ice maker was floor 5. Breakfast was not the best, but considering it's included in the cost, I won't ding any stars for that. I did wish there was a pancake maker or waffle makers. The only hot breakfast items were pre-made breakfast sandwiches which were soggy on the bottom and hard on top and some microwave style omelettes that did not taste good. The cereal was fine and plentiful as well as there were yogurt and fruit options. There were also bagels, toast and muffins. Overall not a bad breakfast but nothing special. Honestly what makes this hotel special is the staff is so welcoming and friendly. The size of the room was great for 3 people, we were not cramped at all. It was a very nice stay at this hotel.

When we booked in we were told the pool was not open (which was a huge disappointment) but it turns out they were doing a cleaning and it would be open the next day. This was okay, and we had fun swimming one day (except my toddler, who was scared by my cannonball splash!) Our rooms featured a small kitchen suite complete with everything you might need like plates, silverware, cooking pots, etc. The bed was comfortable though it started to come undone by the second night. Perhaps that was a combination of us pulling the sheets and struggling to get the room into a nice temperature range. It was either really hot or really cold, with the A/C blowing literally onto the bed 6" away from it. Our view out of the window overlooked more truck distribution centers, but the airport a mile away provided Harrison with lots of views of planes coming and going. The glass walled shower was fun for him to play in with the water too. A couple of nits: they offered a nice hot breakfast but it never varied the three days we were there. I like english muffin breakfast sandwiches, but by the last day I wanted a waffle or pancakes or something else. They have Nutella spread on request. Their door locks close really hard and can be heard down the hall, and they will wake you in the night if you are a light sleeper. Also, we were warned on checking in not to keep valuables in your car... and on my elevator ride up I talked with a guy whose car was stolen here last year. Yikes! You get what you pay for here. If you have a working GPS, don't mind a busy neighboorhood in the middle of nowhere, and don't want to spend a lot of money you will be fine.

One gets a shot of cold water before the temp. adjusts, plus there is not a good indicator on the dial of where the right water temp is; you could easily get burned right after the cold water "surprise". This hotel has been our "go-to" hotel after arriving at the Toronto airport whenever we have flown from there.

The room was what you would expect. The odd thing about the suite was that there was a lot of extra space but not anything in it like a coach or an extra chair. The mini frig and microwave were tucked into a teeny corner. Usually, they give us the complimentary member water and snacks at the check-in desk but instead the water was in the room and no snacks. There didn't seem to be a lot of other hotel guests as there were less than 8 cars in the parking lot so we can't comment on noise levels. This is probably one of the first Hiltons we've stayed at that there was no complimentary breakfast but the hotel was not very expensive. The breakfast buffet is C$12 and for an extra C$4 (or C$16) you can get fried eggs and bacon. We'll probably look for an equivalent Hilton nearby that includes a breakfast next time. The best thing to note was that it is a quick 7 minute car ride to Pho Ngoc Yen, one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Toronto/Mississauga.

At front desk, they had a pretty decent sized lineup but they got through it pretty quickly. They asked if I checked in and I let them know when they were under a different name. They told me they actually have 2 hotels here which is confusing but confirmed that I had stayed here before. Front desk staff were really nice to me. They let me know that breakfast is included. I headed to my room and got settled. The room I had was pretty bright from all the natural light. The room has a tv, desk and a fridge. The washroom looked decent but later found out that the shower/drain was a bit finicky. The bed was decent. I tried the breakfast. It's super basic and it's OK at best but I do like that they have a few fruit options as well as yogurt. There's hot items and all things you'd find at a continental breakfast. Coffee is passable. I never checked out the amenities so can't really comment on them,

It's clean, updated, and the staff are highly responsive. The location is also very convenient--just minutes from everything my husband and I needed to get to, most importantly, our family. This location really stands out because it consistently gets the basics right, seemingly without having to go out of its way to do so.
