We once again ordered food from C&T Wok Express…read more It is probably one of the best in Durham region They get fairly busy on weekends so I would call ahead earlier in the day if you are looking for food around dinner time Service is always friendly there Food is excellent as always We enjoyed the pork wonton soup, orange chicken, garlic broccoli, mixed vegetable fried rice and beef udon on this occasion We got free wontons for our order over $50 which is a nice touch that they have You can also get sweet and sour pork as the other option Highly recommended for Chinese food in Durham and especially in the Ajax area

We do have an allergy and requested no celery, there was in fact celery in the dishes we discussed accommodating the allergy with, we also asked for vegetarian Singapore noodles, and there was meat. Albeit a lot of meat for what it's worth, but when you're a vegetarian that ain't really a selling point. Picking it all out was a nightmare. We found the portions and price very generous, we were even given a free serving of meat for the size of the order, everything was fresh but most of the dishes we got were in a crazy amount of sauce where you wouldn't really expect any sauce or a very little like the Thai basil stir fried veggies and tofu, it was drenched in a big puddle of sauce.

Ordered sweet and sour chicken balls, pan fried dumplings, and vegetable lo mein, total was about $31. Chicken balls were great, vegetable lo mein needed more vegetables but was okay otherwise, and pan fried dumplings were good.

For starter, this area during late April was attracting a LOT of mosquitoes for some reason...Even around the store, it was filled with mosquitoes...It was even camping in my car as well...If i had a pet frog, at least, he/she will be a happy camper! :P I have to say prices here is quite reasonable with decent portion sizes as well. Here is what we ordered for take-out... #75 Stir Fried Green Bean ($7.95)- Decent veggie dish mixed with some sauce I wasn't really able to identify well. #9 Sweet & Chilli Wings-12pcs ($9.99)- Wings with sweet chilli sauce mix...Although it did make the wings/drums a bit soggy because of it, but the sauce has a lil heat and was decent taste. I'd say ask for sauce on the side next time so you still get some crunch on the wings. #119 Spicy Ginger Beef ($10.45)- Its lightly breaded piece of 'beef or chicken' with green peppers, onion, and carrots with special ginger sauce they call it...Unfortunately, the dish I got was not beef but chicken instead... You can tell by colour/texture. I ask the staff about this while checking my food before going but for some reason the young staff member wasn't too sure, so I didn't want to bother them and just took it anyways...Taste wise, this had decent flavour and I wouldn't mind getting again in the future... Overall, the price tag here is quite good when comparing elsewhere...The portion is decent and flavour is there...Only downfall from what I heard is the time it takes to prepare can be quite long...Lucky for me, our dishes only took about 20 mins to prepare...So pick a non-busy time to order by phone or in-person... Cash is KING here...Pay cash and get 10% off... *Discount not valid with combos and dinner sets* :)

I had their Rou-Si Pork noodle soup, one of my favourites. It was delicious, with rich flavour. It hit the right spots and satisfied my craving. While dining, the couple at the next table struck up a conversation with me and offered to share their dessert. Yes! I couldn't resist the Fried Banana, one of my favourites. Thank you! Besides the great tasting food and friendly service, diners received a gift from the restaurant to commemorate their anniversary. Thank you and congratulations to Jin's Mi-Fen! I wish you continued success!

I heard they opened a location in Ajax and we were in the neighbourhood and decided to check it…read moreout. The parking lot situation was pretty straightforward. They have their own private lot, but they share it with a coin laundry and it looks a little rundown. As you enter the restaurant, there were already a few diners eating, but mostly it was pretty empty. Service was pretty efficient. You didn't really need to interact with any of the servers as they have QR code menus at every table and you would just order through your phone, even as far as submitting through your phone and it would go straight to the kitchen. Their menu is pretty limited. They're known for their rice noodles, but for a lot of the soup noodle dishes you had the choice between a wheat noodle, a flat noodle, which they told us was sold out, and then their original rice noodle. The food came pretty fast. We also ordered their take on popcorn chicken, but they called them chicken bites. They were more so like western chicken nuggets, but smaller and didn't have that like Taiwanese popcorn chicken taste, which they never technically advertised but at most Asian places when they sell Chicken bites/popcorn chicken I just automatically referred to those familiar flavour profiles. The chicken bites came with a mayo based dipping sauce. It came out hot and fresh. They were kind of just OK and then our noodle soup dishes came out. I ordered the original and my partner ordered a spicy version. I did decide to choose less salt, which was an option that I do appreciate, however the braised beef in my noodle dish was really tough and the brisket in my partner's noodle dish was extremely dry so we left kind of unsatisfied with the meal. I also just feel like if you're not a fan of that mala spice then you might not like any of the dishes here because all their soup bases has that northern China peppercorn soup base. I don't think I'll be coming back even though they've given me a customer stamp card. I prefer my braised beef soup noodles with bouncy hand pulled noodles and the braised beef tender.

When you place an order for delivery and needed to pay by credit card, you have to give them your credit card information over the phone. THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE that has THIS credit card information. On the flip side, FOOD was GREAT but not worth fraudulent activity.

In my opinion one of the overall best 'Americanized' Chinese food places in Durham that's clean and…read morefresh. No issues with hair, plastic or anything else in my food. Been ordering for the last 1.5- 2 years, food is still consistent. I'm originally from the states, and there's certain Americanized Chinese food staples there - crab Rangoon is one of them and served at every Thai and Chinese restaurant. Thai crab Rangoon tastes much different than the Chinese version but they still have it I found this restaurant originally due to them serving crab Rangoon's - essentially cream cheese, very small portion of imitation crab, green onions deep fried in wonton. Not many Chinese places have it here, except Panda Express and 2-3 random locations all over GTA. This is one of the better crab Rangoon's served in GTA. I still find several of their dishes are delicious, besides the Rangoon's. Not sure why the reviews are off, but if you're craving Chinese that's fried and a bit greasy, without going downtown, this is it. And the staff is very receptive to changing and asking for certain things - I.e, less sauce, more sauce, etc. I'd recommend - wonton soup - it's fresh, has the proper amount of veggies, generous dumplings and if you try the 'house wonton' it comes with actual shrimp and chicken with the veggies and wontons. It is salty, but that's standard Americanized wonton soup! Crab Rangoon's - one of the few places around that has. These are absolutely great. They're a little of the sweet side of a typical crab Rangoon, Try them! Dumpling - they do them right here. They're large and filled with meat/veggie filling. I prefer mine steamed but I've had the pan fried. Both are delicious and the homemade sauce they give is so tasty. Sweet and sour chicken - deep fried chicken fingers that you can dip in the standard sweet and sour sauce or with plum sauce. I find most of the time they get these moist. I've had a few one offs from them where they're dry/overcooked, but 95% they deliver moist. General tsos/sesame chicken/orange chicken/orange beef- I think all of these are great, however these are drowned in sauce - I've asked for less sauce in past or sauce on the side and they've done this to a 'T'. Boneless sparerib - good, but a bit saucy. Again they're willing to do what you want so you can ask for less sauce.
