This is under new ownership, and the cleanliness has dropped. Recepies have changed slightly.

The food? A SOLID 8.5/10. Everything was yummy and came out super fast. Some of the rice was a teeny bit underdone but overall it was good. We got the lunch specials and got food for two people and two appetizers for $33 after tax. The person who helped us was super nice and attentive, and the classical music in the restaurant was nice. The restaurant (windows, floor) was a little dirty, but everything that we were eating off of (table, plates, etc) was almost pristine. I think this is the best and best priced Chinese place in Jonesboro. read more

Best spicy Singapore noodles!!!! food came out fast and we had great service. The egg drop soup was very good as well as the crab Rangoon's.

Husband and I were passing through and decided to check this place out. OMGGGGGG were So glad we did! As Soon as we walked in we were greeted where I responded "I'm Hungry", and we were told that they could fix that for me, lol. the food was phenomenal including our service. Husband and I decided then on that every time we will be passing through the area we will make sure to stop here for an awesome meal. read more

Oriental Express - Mongolian beef. - Chinese Near Me - Jonesboro, Arkansas

We came in on a Friday night and were sat instantly! We ordered the Oriental Express Sampler for 2 which came with egg rolls, chicken on a stick, crab rangoon's, and fried dumplings as an appetizer which everything was really good and fresh! My boyfriend got the Mongolian Beef with steamed rice and he seemed to really like it! I got the orange chicken with fried rice and it was good as well! Our server was the only server working which was kinda crazy, but he was on top it! I would recommend if you're looking for solid Chinese food! read more

Line was long for carryout but amazingly fast. Portions were more than we needed but food was tasty. Four stars.

It's not a shocker that Arkansas rates this a high restaurant, very dirty place and you think Asian people could master fried rice but the rice was undercooked and very crunchy I would stir away from this place at all possible.. Nasty !! read more

The ordering process was smooth, the food was great, and the price was reasonable! I picked it up via drive-thru, so I can't attest to the inside, but it's definitely a great takeout location! read more

Amazing food and personnel. I ordered a side order of pork just to try. It was delicious. I'm ready to go back! Wonderful experience

Service and Crab Rangoon were good, but the General Tsao's chicken was horrible, full of fat, grizzle and bone. The restaurant's windows, floor, and bathrooms were filthy. This was a one and done experience. read more

Hot, fresh & DELICIOUS!!! Staff very friendly & knowledgable. Restaurant is clean. Favorite is the Salt & Pepper Shrimp! Also love the MooShu!! read more

BEST IN JONESBORO!! My go to dish is the salt and pepper shrimp. SO GOOD! If I am not in the mood for shrimp, then I go with the MOO SHU. Service is super fast and very attentive. Decor is as you would expect. Bring a jacket, cause it is usually chilly in the dining room. read more

Overly priced for food with no flavor. We ordered Generals chicken with white rice and chicken lomein. Generals was pretty sad tasting and looking. Rice had zero flavor. Chicken lomein didn't even have any veggies and lacked flavor as well. Very disappointing for the price we paid. read more

This was our first experience at Oriental Express and it was a pleasant one. We ordered the sampler plate that had crab Rangoon, chicken in a stick, dumplings and egg rolls. Best dumplings I have ever eaten they left me wanting more and I'm not a big fan of them. We also ordered Teriyaki chicken and sesame chicken. They were both very flavorful with generous portions. Plenty enough for two meals. If I'm ever back in Jonesboro, I'll be glad to try them again. read more

We love this place. It's our go to for take out/delivery when we are craving low mein or fried rice. They are FAST and very friendly.

Great food, service.and needs delivery it's hard to get good delivery for a good price.

Fast food style Chinese food with good prices. Onion soup flavor was good, but vegetables were raw (raw onions kind of ruined it for me). I think their idea is good that they want to give you lots of vegetables in the onion soup, but they need to be cooked more if doing so. The crab rangoon was my favorite. I can't say I enjoyed the flavor of the rest of the food, it seemed bland. Maybe I'll try again next time I'm in town. Everyone was nice though! read more

Definitely some of the best Asian food in town. Their food is much more flavorful than regular Chinese takeout. Their menu is extensive and is especially great if you love trying new foods! They also have a drive through, which is so convenient for busy weeknights when we want Chinese. read more

Quick stop for a late Sunday lunch. Great crab rangoons, my husband really enjoyed his hot crab salad and chicken on a stick, and the vegetable lomein was ok (pretty average). Great service, fast food, decent Chinese food, friendly staff. Pretty good place to visit and they have a drive through!?! Better than Panda Express from the West Coast, much better than Leann Chin from the Midwest. Much better than most Chinese buffets I've had in the central US. Must try their Chinese menu. read more

I hadn't been here for a while but I got to thinking about their Mongolian Chicken - it is so dang good I get it almost every time! I may be stuck in a rut but it's a delicious one! Service is always excellent and very respectful. The prices are OK and the quantities are enough that you can make two meals out of many dishes. I've never been disappointed, they are consistently good. It is one of my favorites! read more

I have been looking for a good Chinese restaurant since we moved to AR a year ago & no, I don't want a buffet. They did not make chow mein at all. The main reason for going there! They also had a full Sushi bar, but no sushi was available either. So we settle on lettuce wraps & cashew chicken. Then, I asked for low sodium soy sauce, and again, it was not available. When I got my meal, the rice was supposed to be fried; but it looked like brown rice, no veggies or eggs. VERY disappointed. 1 positive, hot green tea was good. I'm still looking for good Chinese food. read more

FREE DELIVERY!! Yes, this makes dinner time super easy. My husband gets his sushi fix, my picky child loves the chicken on a stick and in love their shrimp egg foo young. This is the only place I'll eat Chinese food in Jonesboro. read more

Very good Chinese dishes. Haven't tried the sushi. Service is fast and courteous. Great lunch spot.

I highly recommend Red Curry Chicken! it is warm and wonderfu! The waiter was amazing. truly helpfu.

Great food. Easy call in and pickup. The variety of food is great. Drunken noodles are fantastic

I've been to this place a few times and I'm still not sure what to make of it, but I've decided I really like it. The place is a little out of the way, doesn't look like much on the outside, it's clean but completely nondescript on the inside, the menu makes no attempt to give any kind of description of the dishes listed so you're not quite sure what you're getting unless you know already, the service is a bit on the slow side...but man, the food is bangin'. Hard. Every time I go I am super happy with whatever I get and find myself thinking, "This is awesome, why don't I come here more?" It's because they make no attempt to advertise or be showy or put any effort whatsoever into the "customer experience", so they're never in the front of my mind. (For the record, the wait staff is always competent and sometimes even friendly.) It seems like maybe they don't have any interest in the idea of being a restaurant so they don't try very hard at that, but they do care about the food and they crank out some of the best around. read more

Here on business & got the urge for Thai. People were very nice and the service was quick, but no one asked how spicy I wanted my food. I started off with the an order of egg roll, but they ended up being spring rolls instead. Not my favorite. The spicy fried rice was different. It had a nice bite to it, but lacked a ton of flavor like I was hoping. The pad noodles were great. Lots of flavor, lots of chicken, nice broth!!! Not a bad place for a small college town, but not a great experience. read more

Super disappointed. Everything tasted like hot water :/ Limited vegan options. Small portions. Steep prices.

Bad choice for Chinese food. Tastes bad and found a worm looking thing in our food. The server took my plate to the back, and came back with a different dish. The manager was extremely rude, acting like he does not understand us . Never came back again. read more

This was my second time eating here. The sprite I ordered tasted funky. I'm not sure what flavor to describe it as but it tasted odd. I'm not sure if it was the sushi I had, but I woke up pretty sick to my stomach the next day. The staff was okay. Not good, not bad. Either way, it's an alright place. read more

This was our favorite Asian restaurant several years ago when we lived in Jonesboro. We decided to visit it again when we were visiting recently. Same friendly folk running the place. The menu is bigger, still offering Chinese, Korean and Thai dishes. They also have a separate gluten free menu now (partly thanks to me because when we were regulars, they very nicely accommodated my need for gluten free dishes by altering their dishes). We ordered the Korean Bulgogi for him and the GF Pad Thai for me and were very pleased with both. It's so nice to know that this restaurant still serves great food! read more

Fast, hot, and delicious! Great variety of Asian dishes made fresh to order. My go to in Jonesboro.

This best Asian food restaurant in Jonesboro! I have been to various restaurants all the way in big cities and overseas, but I still enjoy my authentic Taiwanese and Japanese food at heart. If you would like some good quality food without a burst stomach from the Chinese cafes (Jonesboro is teeming with Chinese Cafes along S Caraway somehow), I would recommend this restaurant. Be sure to try their green onion chicken, pork stew, and I would recommend my favorite squid noodles! If you dare, my coworker's favorite is pork intestine with sour veggie. I am not a fan for that main dish of intestine, but I am just the fan for its side sour veggie! It is one of "the guts" of Taiwanese food..haha. Their red bean ice cream with cream on the top is great as a dessert. Conclusively, I can not live without this restaurant in town to have my Asian food fix once a week! read more

For my first time eating here it was amazing, the food got out faster than expected the lo mein was some of the best I've had, and the sweet and sour chicken was great. Service was good and the prices were good for what they have and how much they give. I plan on coming back and trying their sushi rolls, and more of the food that they have on the menu. Me and my girlfriend were very happy with what they had to offer and how good it tasted. Food that you're bound to love! read more
