When she came to our house we went over all of the details, I gave her specific instructions and she agreed to all of it. Well when her 3 hrs we're up I noticed everything we discussed was not done.. she didn't label anything (even tho she said she would) she didn't come with any organization tools I.e. containers etc. She took items out of a few boxes and on the counter and put things away but the organization wasn't there, it wasn't neat and precise, some places she put things didn't make sense, she said she liked to work alone so she can focus on the tasks at hand, which I thought was great but she talked to my husband a lot...now we have to re-do what she did. We did not get the quality work a "professional organizer" should give and for the money we paid and the agreement we had, it def feels like we were punked or something. Very odd. Hire someone who has more experience and who is more professional and thorough. If you want someone who can help unpack then she would be good if you want someone to organize I do not recommend.

The end result we wanted was to have the first floor have the same look as the rest of the house in terms of the doors, baseboards, and windows. We had carpenters come and give us bids, but no company was as helpful as Sunrise. When Sarah and Josh came to see the job, we told them what we wanted, and they basically took the load off of us. Unlike other contractors, they didn't give us a catalog with 500 doors and baseboard styles to choose from. Sunrise did all the hunting for the correct pieces that were needed. Once they found what they thought would look great, they let us take a look to make sure we were OK with them (which we were of course). Their prices were reasonable, they will help you choose the right materials to keep the cost down if you ask them to. We were very happy with the craftsmanship. There were a couple of snags during the process, but Sarah was extremely pleasant to work with to resolve any issues. There were no unreasonable unexpected charges or surprises at the end. The best way to describe our experience with Sunrise is "worry free". These are people you can trust to give you a high quality product, at a fair price, and will not try to take advantage of you during the process. We would be happy to hire them again.

They have a lovely selection of hand dyed fiber and very knowledgeable staff people who are eager to help you if you have questions. The price range is wide, so you can meet almost any price point in the shop. Keep in mind it's hand dyed, so the prices start higher than a box store, but I think the prices are very fair. In addition to selling fiber, they also sell boxed project sets (great idea!), tools and accessories, and they even run classes! Amazing! Looking forward to joining a class this spring. Small shop, very cute, and well worth your time to pop in and see what they have!
