She even stays a few minutes extra. She also organized our shed and we couldn't believe the results. I used to think the shed is full but now we realized we actually have a lot of extra space. She listens well. I find that for the most part she requires very little supervision. We are doing the garage now and we will be using her to do the closets and the rest of our home too.

Vahn is great, and I highly recommend him! He knows his stuff and has many years of experience in construction, civil engineering and home inspections. He grew up in a household that's in construction and real estate. He quickly responds to the first request for information. However, you should be able to find all you need from the detailed breakdown of prices on his website. He spent four hours on our house and thoroughly explained the HVAC system, how all our equipment works, and how to maintain it through the seasons. Very patient with answering all my Q's because I know nothing about it. While our home is relatively new and within limited warranty, he did find some HVAC-related items, electrical panel and external areas to improve. What did we receive at the end? A detailed 45-page report (we had two HVAC systems) with 10+ recommendations and pictures. He even had diagrams of our electrical, heating and plumbing systems etc. All the model numbers of our equipment and home appliances were listed and submitted to notify us of any recalls on an ongoing basis. It was worth it for us to get the home inspection after purchase. We paid for the extended thermal scan of the home, but we didn't upgrade for the radon scan. However, it's only $30 to add on a radon scan if you want a quick check.

Initially we had 1 project (which was later divided into 3 parts) which once completed grew into another and another and another. Our interaction with the company began with an in-person meeting with Linda (the owner), she was so kind and took a tour of the house making recommendations about how we could make areas more functional. She wanted to know about the people who lived there and what our interests were. If we didn't want to do something, she never pressured us to think otherwise. We were assigned a team who are personable and great at what they do. They were on time and our 'project' was carefully transferred from Linda to the leader. After one day, the room which could have been featured on hoarders was neatly categorized and everything was in boxes. Needless to say, it didn't take us long to fall in love with our new space and hated looking at the areas that weren't as organized. What did that mean? Our interaction with CBG continued and we're now set on them doing the whole house. At present, they've spent the equivalent of 1-2 week's organizing our home. The entire time, Linda regularly checks in to make sure we are happy with how the project is going and when we had to bring in a new team lead a few weeks ago, Linda was back to ensure the project continued seamlessly. We were left with one week to dispose of various large items ourselves in a difficult time of Covid. The owner promised a prompt reckoning and payment from the auction. This also did not happen. It took several months and repeated reminders for any payment to arrive. The owner told us she had "overlooked" our payment because she was so busy. I live in another province. It took three months for items I bid on to arrive. Expect politeness and promises when you first talk to this owner but little follow-through. Very disappointing service.
