Honestly, all I can say is OMG... I have died and woke up in vegan products heaven! Love the whole design of this stunningly beautiful store, especially the outside seating area, I even love the not so harsh lighting, I find other grocery stores a bit blinding. I went quite a bit overboard with my purchases but the great thing is that many of my favourite products are priced lower than at Whole Foods, where I shop regularly.

Organic garage store at 43 Junction road.

I have gone to this store many times and beware of careless or inexperienced cashiers over charging customers on their groceries.

Amazing quality and selection- with decent prices! Good for vegan/veg, gluten-free, (more) ethical meats.

Lowest rating you can possibly give a place…read more Went here today seeking refreshment from the hot sun and biking around. Amidst this covid19 chaos. Its exhausting. For all of us! I had my scarf on as I was inside the store. I dont like those medical masks. While browsing the vitamin aisles, one of the Healthy Planet workers caught my gaze from behind the counter. He looked at me as though he either wanted to ask if I needed assistance finding anything; yet was too shy or afraid to ask, as he did not, or as though I was gonna steal something. Yes, that is my presumption. And I dont appreciate the look he gave me. I couldn't find what I was looking for. So I went to be cashed out. Only to be partially ignored and given second priority, by the cashier. The person ringing my transaction through was having a conversation with her colleagues. Mind you, trying to clarify something I dont know the details of. To me, the conversation with her fellow workers could have waited. Perhaps to them, not so much. I understand people feel it urgent to clear up misunderstandings or to share info that otherwise seems so important in the moment. After all, one could very well get busy and forget what needs to be communicated. However, when there is a customer in front of you, that customer is your priority! Not engaging in a conversation with your coworkers, regardless of the content of that conversation. You put it on hold, or pause and say, "please give me a minute while I cash out this customer" to your colleagues. It's simple. Effective communication goes a long way. You dont make the customer wait to pay for their groceries. Especially since you prompted them to come to your till, in order to be cashed out by you. Giving them the impression you were ready to receive their order. This is what this cashier did with me, she signaled me to her till. Additionally, I get how during this time there are preferences both for the workers and for the customers... does the cashier place the receipt in the customer's hand? or does the cashier place it on the counter for the customer to then retrieve? This all, to maintain a contactless transaction. God forbid fingers swipe, even accidentally. I, for one prefer to have my receipt handed to me upon completion of the transaction. Its polite and curteous and signifies, "hey, I recognize you". This particular cashier placed it on the counter in, what I perceived to be, a rather dismissive way. As she went to quickly carry out another task immediately after the transaction concluded. Again, as though I was not important. She didnt even say, "have a good day", no smile, no anything. And her overall demeanor stunk. Like it seriously reeked of pretentiousness & coldness. She was short, condescending and from what I gather, complacent too. And as though she really didnt give a care in the world to be pleasant or friendly, or kind. Qualities essential, yet so completely lost in the customer service industry these days. This individual seemed entirely devoid of those characteristics and that is most unfortunate! As the planet is unhealthy when people dont take the time to cultivate enough self awareness to be good to another. I for one will not stand for it and have withdrawn my business from them. I will shop elsewhere from here on out. On another occasion I have bought some nuts, or chocolate that was simply rancid, which bespeaks of what conditions they store their products in. Since then, I choose not to purchase such items from them, as this is a crystal clear sign they dont treat their products with the respect they deserve. Good luck to those that venture here, you're gonna need it!

To top it all off the check out, even when there are multiple people on cash, is the slowest I've ever experienced. I literally feel myself aging in line. Do yourself a favor and drive to the Etobicoke location on Islington where they have products in stock and friendly employees who are knowledgeable.
