Well, Terrie is absolutely AMAZING and I would recommend her a thousand times over! She makes you feel extremely comfortable the entire time and her shop is adorable! Terrie is incredibly friendly and makes you feel at home. It's like spending a couple of hours with your best friend instead of a stranger. This is so important because we've all sat through those awkward beauty appointments where we feel like we are being poked and prodded. It's the complete opposite with Terrie. She is not only concerned about doing a great job, but she wants you to be comfortable and does whatever she can to make sure that you are. I continue to go back to her because she does such a wonderful job. Everyone comments on my eyelashes, and even those that are in the industry have a difficult time telling if they are mine or not. I have probably given out her information 20 times in the last couple months because she is simply that good at what she does. Since my first appointment, I have also gone to her for a facial (which was so relaxing!) and and I'm planning to have her do a spray tan this weekend. The shop is new, extremely clean and super cute! Mayra did my spray tan and was so friendly, informative and professional! I decided to get sprayed nude and in no way or at any time did I feel uncomfortable in her spraying me (as you would assume - you do need to turn and pose this and that way...lol). She helped me choose which spray tan to get - either a certain tan # or a rapid tan which develops and you wash when you get the color you desire. I went with rapid tan and it was perfect for me! It didn't look orange or fake and I felt so good about myself and how I looked. I would definitely recommend to anyone to try, even if they have had a bad experience spray tanning before!!! Just remember that you don't want to shower for a minimum of 6 hours (no matter which tan you pick), do NOT wear any lotion, deodorant or perfume as it can block the tan to permeate the skin and wear loose clothing. They have different specials, packages and even a "happy hour" special for a discounted price. Check it out....you won't be sorry!!!!!!

Not a single person has greeted me on my way in or out, in the 7 months I've had my package. And when I walk up to the front desk to check in, they act like I'm either interrupting them from the superficial conversation they're having amongst each other, or as if I'm just flat out bothering them. But that's only if anyone is actually working at the front desk. Now it wouldn't be fair if I said these girls are the sole reason that any trace of customer service is performing a disappearing act. This obviously falls in the laps of the owners (whatever kind of "business people" they are), and the management they have in place. Don't let the pretty facade fool you - these people have no idea how to run a respectable business. It's wayyy over priced and NOT worth it. Oh, and if you forget your tanning goggles, don't even bother asking if they have spares for clients to borrow. They want to charge you an arm and a leg to use their beds, but they can't loan you a pair of goggles that probably cost them less than a dollar to purchase. TWO THUMBS WAY DOWN FOR CLUB TAN.

I called the next day, and they were nice enough to get me in for the date I wanted the appointment for. I ended up seeing Jenny. I think it was the quickest haircut I ever had. She is a scissor wiz. She whipped up a stylish do in no time. Then when I went to settle everything, they said the card that was provided to them through ClassPass, was declining. Thankfully, it was quickly sorted out. However; Stephanie K came by referral from a friend who used to work at Platinum Salon, so I trusted her judgement. I had also scheduled to have my upper eyelids tattooed with "eyeliner" but chickened out. Nothing was going to stop me from getting my eyebrows done though, so I was up at the crack of dawn the day of my appointment and drove across town, arriving 20 minutes early, because of how excited I was. I am really glad I went and got my eyebrows done by Stephanie because she did a great job and I now have eyebrows that I think God intended me to have (before I tweezed the crap out of them in my teens - for the Pam Anderson look). Stephanie is also really personable and is a perfectionist so she didn't call it good until she had gone over them again and again - making sure that not a single faux hair was out of place. The price was very good and includes a touch up (they tend to fade a little after you first get them done) and I am going to work up the courage to do the eyeliner when I go in for my touch-up appointment. I wish I had a "before" photo, so you could see how little eyebrows I had left on my brow before I would pencil them in and before Stephanie thickened them up, but you will just have to use your imagination that they were much thinner and much shorter in length. If you have thin eyebrows and are sick of penciling them in every day, I would seriously consider getting this procedure done. Your brow is numbed beforehand, so the mini blade they use to tattoo hair lines on doesn't hurt at all. There is nothing to fear, but what you will do with your extra time in the morning (dishes, making your bed etc). lol

I forgot I had a dermatology appt the very next day and when I saw my dermatologist about a spot on my nose she froze off a couple of other moles she saw and told me I needed to avoid the sun especially because of the spot on my nose that she wants to do a biopsy On in Sept. I was shocked when she told me this. My first thought was "oh no just got a membership yesterday at the tanning salon." Anyways I went in to Palm beach tan on the 29th to get a refund, and explained everything to the manager she reassured me and filled out paperwork. I also asked for a refund on the tan lotion I never used and I handed that to her. According to Palm beach tan refund agreement it says " New members can request a refund within 30 days of purchase". Tanning lotion policy says "Return Window: Eligible skin care and tanning lotions must be returned within 7 days of the original purchase date". When she was done filling out the paperwork for my refund, the manager had told me that " IF " they decide to give me a refund it could take up to 14 days . I said what do you mean "IF"? seriously? I went home and I started feeling uneasy because I didn't have a receipt saying that I returned the lotion. I didn't have an email saying that I canceled the membership so I called the store a couple of times I feel like the manager was irritated with me. I asked her again about my refund and about my lotion and she told me I could not get a refund for the lotion only in store credit. she mentioned that she told me this the first time I came in and asked for the refund, but I do not recall her saying this I would not have handed her my lotion. She said, "Your lotion is in the back with your name on it if I wanted to come pick it up." I did everything in a timely manner exactly how they told me in their policy. I went to a manager by day 3 because she was not available the 2nd day. Which means I could've got a refund for the lotion I never used like it says in their terms and agreement. And I still haven't gone back to the store to pick it up yet. It's very frustrating when nobody reaches out to contact you to let you know what's going on and you have to keep checking your bank account to see if you've been refunded. So now I'm leaving this review. I hate being taken advantage of and I'm not the type of person to let this go. Hopefully this will get resolved and I'll be able to edit and update. Update regarding employee comment: I already sent an email to the corporate office. And the manager supposedly sent a refund form to her bosses On July 29th. Come August 10 it will be 14 days. It's kind of funny how you cant see the one star reviews unless you download the yelp app but you definitely can read anything over four stars. The fact that it will take up to five days to reach out to me is just ridiculous. The fact that it's taking so long to get my refund is absolutely ridiculous. I see that Palm beach tan has a lot of one star reviews. that's speaks volumes and shows that Palm Beach Tan is just in it for the money and doesn't care about their customers. Customer service isn't what it used to be.
