    Tori Paitan Ramen

Finally a ramen place close to home! Service was great and food was delicious. I ordered the Tori Paitan ramen and it was so good! Good amount of food for the price. Everything tasted fresh and authentic. My wife ordered the tonkotsu ramen and my daughter ordered the miso ramen. Both of them loved their food too! I'll be coming back again to try the other dishes. Place was very clean too and plenty of parking space !

Super good! Really happy to finally have some legit ramen in town and delicious bulgogi too! Service was friendly and quick. We can't wait to go back to try more

I have come here multiple times now, we always normally get the poke bowl it's always so delicious! Ramen tastes very fresh and handmade, service is always friendly and nice. Kept the restaurant very clean and put together, I recommend to others.

We got the miso ramen and the bulgogi bowl. They were both tasty, ramen was very flavorful. Since this was our first time we got everything normal. The bulgogi had lots of veggies that I wasn't expecting they were very good. I would love the option to upgrade to double meat. Loved the kimchi!

Judging by their specialty roll menu, I think they specialize in rolls that are heavy on sauces, toppings, fried aspects, and "western" elements. It may be just because of the local palate, but I typically prefer more authentic, traditional Japanese/sushi/sashimi. Servers were prompt and polite. Ambiance is normal - good for small groups, families, or friends. I had one issue with one dish which they tried to resolve, but initially they advised that it was a "normal" part of the fish, which I can acknowledge, but the degree/size of the issue was a bit more of my concern. They did try and make it right, but I was a bit off put by their initial response. Perhaps they were busy and getting slammed by the evening rush.

They were chewy and undercooked!) There were a lot of customers there and, I believe only 3 workers: front of the restaurant woman who is your hostess, server, "bus boy", and cashier! Then there was the cook and someone in the back. The service was fine overall but Sapporo fell short on cleanliness and food handling safety. My kids and I were STARVING so we had to just look the other way throughout our dinner. You can tell they were working hard so we didn't want to make a fuss but omg... the woman brought our bowls with her THUMB in the bowls! I could see that it went into the soup one time so she moved her thumb (probably bec it was hot) and almost dropped the bowl on the table. Another time she held a piece of paper (I think it was the order) in her hand while also handling our food, so the paper went into 2 out of 4 of our bowls. She had to shake the piece of paper next to me to get the food to fall off. It was so shocking that it was almost funny. Almost. Sapporo is what I'd call a "hole in the wall" establishment like ones I had been to in big cities, and with those places, I think there is a bit of uncleanliness that you just have to expect as long as the food is good. Based on how packed Sapporo is, I think that's what others feel as well.

I ordered their tonkatsu ramen and my friend ordered their karaage ramen. food: Broth is super tasty. I like my pork belly. It wasn't too dry and was very easy to chew on. The noodles did get soggy over time. My friend's karaage was pretty good. The only thing we'd complain about is that the egg wasn't half raw as most ramen shops does it. It is very cooked which made it super dry. It seems alot of the yelp reviews were about the egg. I hope with many feedbacks about the egg, the chef could improve it make it half raw like most places. Environment: Inside was clean. Very quiet. It's a pretty small shop so can only fit less than 10 tables. The service was friendly. He was nice.

Parking was only mildly challenging, as a space opened up after only a single lap around the block. Inside here, you'll find a busy place with a few tables and individual bar-style (partitioned!) paired seating along the walls adjacent to the kitchen in the middle part of the restaurant. Order up at the self-serve order kiosks, tap in your table/counter number, and they bring out your order in a couple of minutes. We had six of us in our party, and most of us kept it simple by ordering the default Tonkatsu Ramen with different customizable options. Most all of the ingredients in this order were on point - The Chasu Pork Belly was tender, thick and delicious, ramen noodles nothing special, but generally stil on point, as were the bamboo shoots. However, the co-star/centerpiece of the Tonkatsu Ramen other than the Chasu Pork slab should be the broth, but sadly the broth was far far TOO salty which overpowered the other flavors in the broth. Chasu Pork 4.8/5, Tonkatsu Ramen 3.1/5. Service was good as everyone was hustling hard in the kitchen, along with attentive bussers/waitstaff to quickly turn tables. They take good care in wiping down the tables here. If I return, I'll just get the Paitan Ramen like I did in years past, as that seemed less salty. Then again the Paitan soup base begins with the same chicken+pork soup base as the Tonkatsu Ramen. I hope Toribashi will step back up to their former glory.

There were only several tables inside, so the place is cozy and quite enough. The edamame was salted throughout, flavorful but not the most healthy. We ordered three rolls: volcano was our favorite, it has a great mixture of flavors. I used to be a sashimi person, but I enjoyed the baked rolls due to the flavor. Firecracker was tasty too. Mango crunch was a letdown, not because of the mango but the tempura in the middle. The tempura had the wrong type of dough and tasted old and soggy. I probably won't order any of their tempura dishes again if I ever revisit. Overall I still enjoyed the food and thought it's good value.
