Then Sequoia guided me to the treatment room, I was offered a choice of tea and essential oil, I chose eucalyptus! Love eucalyptus, he let me know he's getting a diffuser soon, but for now he incorporated the essential oil into the treatment. After I sat down, he took my pulse and asked a few questions to clarify my responses on the intake form. And inquired any areas of concern I had, I said 'hormonal acne, left side of my neck is tight and right erector muscle' Then he left the room, I undressed to my level of comfort (I'm a massage therapist, so I'm super comfortable in this setting), placed my jewelry in the bowl provided and got on the massage table, under the flat sheet. During the treatment I was gently mesmerized by the music and felt a release in my left levator scapulae ( back neck muscle) as he needled it. He addressed my other concerns too and responded with a thorough answer when I asked what a certain point was for, or when I asked for the music to be a bit quieter he happily obliged. By the end I was drifting in parasympathetic mode aka 'rest and digest'. Very calm and peaceful place for your nervous system to switch into to heal and realign itself. Important, delicious and so necessary! Love when I come away from a treatment feeling this way. I will definitely be going back for regular treatments with Sequoia, he was awesome!

Then I asked what would cause it to not go towards treatment and she said she didn't know. She asked me the size and it was very small. Under 3 inches and 0.5 inches in size, black. She said that was a very large tattoo to remove. But on their website they show a very large black tattoo removal that I assume they did and it didn't make sense that my very small tattoo was too big?!?! The woman then told me that she couldn't help me because I didn't give her measurements in centimeters?!?! It just didn't feel right. None of it. Couldn't get a real answer to anything and just the fact that my really small black tattoo was considered very large to this business. While the staff were kind during my first few visits, my experience has unfortunately gone downhill…read moresince this center was combined with another location. They frequently double-book appointments, which has resulted in me sitting for 15+ minutes before being seen because no one is available. The front desk staff have also been rude and unwelcoming. On one occasion, I was the only person checking in, yet instead of assisting me, the staff continued having conversations about non-work-related topics. Once I am actually seen by the medical staff, they are generally very nice and professional. However, there seems to be a major lack of communication between the staff and the doctors, and this ultimately caused a significant issue with my care. About four months ago, I was told that, for insurance purposes, I needed to wear compression socks for three months before I could have any procedures performed. I followed those instructions without issue. After completing the three months, I returned, scheduled my procedure, and scheduled the required pre-op appointment and follow-up appointments. At my pre-op appointment, I was told that everything was ready to go and that I would be seen for my procedure the following day. Less than 30 minutes after leaving the pre-op appointment, I received a call telling me that my procedure could not be performed because I had not been seen by hematology. This was extremely frustrating because the procedure had been planned and approved by the doctor for more than four weeks. At no point was I given a referral to hematology, told that I needed to see hematology, or informed that this would prevent my procedure from moving forward. In fact, I was repeatedly reassured that everything was ready and that I was scheduled to begin the first of multiple procedures. The lack of communication between the office staff and medical team resulted in unnecessary delays, wasted appointments, and a great deal of frustration. I did everything I was instructed to do and should not have been told that I was ready for a procedure only to be informed at the last minute that a requirement I had never been told about had not been completed. I will be speaking with my primary care provider about finding a different vein specialist, as I do not plan to return to this practice. While I appreciate that the staff who actually saw me were kind, the scheduling issues, front-desk experience, and especially the lack of communication regarding my care have completely undermined my confidence in this business.

No mention at all of an echo anywhere; do they not pay attention to the paperwork at all? Of course, their scan person wasn't in, and they couldn't schedule me for it until weeks out, after when I'll be out of town for a while. Zero attempt to squeeze me in due to their error. I would chalk this up to a one-off, but then I remembered that this has happened before! That time I came in and they had no record at all of my appointment on their books. Proper scheduling is the most basic of things for a doctors' office, when people are taking time out of their day to come in. If you value your time, go elsewhere.
