I love that, unlike other galleries, they have something for every price range, from a couple of bucks for artist-produced stickers and cards, to more pricey paintings and sculptures. It never feels pretentious in there and you can support artists even on a limited income. My kid bought a gorgeous Stephanie Ellis print with his own money and I splashed out on an original watercolor by an artist I hadn't seen there before, Christian Sorensen. Pacific City is BEAUTIFUL! We went to several little towns checking out the lighthouses and little shops. About the gallery: The people that work here are super nice and the owner is VERY informative. We loved the artists they had in the gallery like and purchased a Rose Perez seascape. In addition to wall art, they also have glass balls, wood carvings, pottery, jewelry and textiles. The prices are also appropriate and not outrageously overpriced. I will post some photos when I get the images uploaded but I thought I would mention it. Note: Make sure you call to check on their hours. Since it is winter they are only open Thursday thru Sunday (I was told this was pretty common for the coast). Lastly, I wanted to reiterate that Pacific City's beach is beautiful with Chief Rock and the flat sandy beach. There is a huge area along the beach that is almost untouched because it is part of a national park Bob Straub Park. You can park your car and walk thru the grass to the beach. Keep walking (South) and you end up where the ocean meets the river. We saw some seals swimming around. Also, if you head (North) during low tide you can also check out the sea urchins and muscles that line the rocks.

I live in Idaho however, I collect her prints and they are grouped on the wall n my hallway. During my growing up years, we spent a lot of time in Seaside during the summer and although it's changed it's still precious to be down there. The people in the store are most helpful. This last trip I was assisted by the owner of this store who was bringing in stock and, like always, the service is great. When I arrived home I realized I already had one of the prints I purchased. I'll give Oregon Gallery a call to find out what I can do. I do have a suggestion for the artist; why not give some thought to a Christmas scene and also a 4th of July scene? I do remember being in Seaside during the 60, 70, 80 decades and the 4th was a huge celebration. Hope to be back to Seaside soon.

We were walking down to the beach at sunset when we came upon this store…read more The store was closed at the time but we lingered at the front because of the adorable prints they have on display. One particular print stood out so much that we made a point to come back the next day despite our tight schedule. The lady in the store was very attentive and answered all my questions about the Dorla Rose framed print we eventually purchased. She carefully wrapped it in brown paper and protected the glass with cardboard and even placed hanging wire on the back. While she prepared our purchase, we browsed the gallery and found some gorgeous photographs of the Oregon coast, cute and kitschy dog posters, vintage biking prints, and quality handcrafted glass and ceramic souvenir items. I'm so glad we made time to come back so I can have a beautiful and peaceful reminder of our Seaside trip.

We especially liked the broken plate mosaic pieces, and the credit card mosaics. We were not there to purchase this time, but if we are in the market for unique artwork, we will definitely be back.

It was an enormously fun event in this sweet coastal community and provided a warming and inspiring blast of art on a dark wintery afternoon. Highly recommend checking their website for open gallery hours if you are in town. The art surprised and delighted us.
