I ended up buying 3 pairs of earrings that were all space-related. They were so unique and one that you are not going to find at other store. I bought a lovely, delicate ceramic votive, locally made. She offered to pack it up for me and hold it while I continued to shop around town. I came back for it an hour later and it was in a bag waiting for me. When I got it home and unpacked I saw that she wrapped it in only one layer of light brown paper and just stuck it in a paper bag. Of course, it was broken. I've had better packing jobs done at a Goodwill. I would have loved to give this shop a higher rating, but gallery worker should have taken much greater care in wrapping this. It was truly a piece of art and handled much too casually. It was an oversight that never should have happened. This was my last trip to Seaside --have been visiting for over 30 years and this was my goodbye gift to myself before I relocate cross country. I'm really disappointed by this.
