After receiving the detailed information on the class this won't work for me and they are refusing to refund my money. Literally, two days later and no service has been provided (the class doesn't start for weeks). I was told it's part of their terms. When I reminded her I have never been provided her terms, not did I make any agreement to them, she emailed me a copy of the terms. I would not do business with any school this shady. You can even cancel at state schools and colleges if you do it within the timeframe (which they provide upfront).

I began working with one of the Villa Sport personal trainers in September. I was matched up to…read morework with trainer Matt for my free training session. I was a little intimidated to be working with him initially. I've only had female personal trainers in the past, and I came into that session during a phase of life where I felt disconnected from my body. I felt very vulnerable and exposed to be reaching out for help to a really strong gym guy. During that session, Matt made me feel so comfortable. He was kind and encouraging. We talked about all of my postpartum challenges and he took notes on what mattered most to me and what I wanted from our time together. I really appreciated how he didn't assume what I wanted or needed just from looking at me. I left that session feeling empowered, hopeful, and safe in this space. (Not to mention he fixed my squat in that first session!) Over the last few months, with Matt's programming, I have gained a few pounds of muscle and lost 6% of my body fat. He writes my programs based on my schedule and what I enjoy doing. He's adapted my workouts to support my pelvic floor health which was a very big postpartum concern for me. Any fear I had of bringing up my pelvic floor to a male trainer were squashed by Matt's caring/person-first approach to training. If you are feeling vulnerable, exposed or intimidated, but ready to get some professional support in the gym, I cannot recommend Matt more highly. He's the trainer for you! In addition to my work with Matt, I began taking Reformer Pilates classes once a week with Kate. It is the most fun I've ever had while working that hard! The Reformer machine is such a unique piece of equipment and keeps my brain really interested and engaged in what we are doing. The glide of the carriage and buoyancy of the springs feel so unique to other types of equipment. It's SO fun- horizontal jumping anyone?! But also, so challenging! Luckily for me, Kate is an incredible instructor! Her cues and prompts are spot on and always help me correct my form and activate the right muscle group. She moves throughout the room and provides individualized encouragement and coaching to each of us. Kate also facilitates an awesome vibe in the class! She is fun and friendly and has created a space that feels welcoming and easy to enter into, even as a total beginner. I'm extremely thankful for the team at Villa Sport who have made me feel like I belong while also achieving my goals. 10/10 recommend.

VillaSport provided exactly that. I frequent the spa and Rachael always welcomes me with a smile, remembers my name, and is great to work with. I have had the pleasure of working with Judie several times. She delivers excellent services while answering my questions, educating me on skincare, and creating a relaxing environment during my facials. Both massages I've had at the spa have been fantastic. Most recently, I met with Richard after a workout, and he not only provided a great massage but also helped me understand how massage supports my fitness goals. I look forward to seeing him again. Because I feel comfortable at VillaSport, I decided to move forward with personal training. After speaking with a few great team members, I was connected with Matt. He has been everything I needed and more--patient, knowledgeable, a great communicator, and, most importantly, someone who makes me feel at ease in a new environment. The facilities are managed extremely well and appropriately for the membership fees. Very clean: hot-tubs, pools, steam room, saunas, showers, locker rooms and bathrooms, I am confident they have a stellar facilities team! Aaron was really fun and kept the kids entertained while we waited for the projects to begin. Mimi helped me plan the schedule for the party and checked with my son on the topics he wanted for the art. Both were exceptional instructors. They also decorated the place with balloons and banners and set up goody bags for the kids as well as gave boxes to take the art home. Communication planning was very clear and quick. Day one check in was perfectly smooth, the staff was organized and everything was on time. According to my daughter, class was super fun. Everyone kept their masks on and stayed safe. Truly the only issue I experienced was other parents being rude in the parking lot, as there isn't a lot of parking and people would just stop and block cars and not care about anyone but themselves. I'm guessing this is a regular occurrence because it is super hard to find a spot and not get your car hit by someone in a rush. Let me be 100% clear, this is not a reflection of OGA. And it's not their responsibility. But it is something I experienced all week in the morning and evening. I highly recommend the center for gymnastics. The coaches encouraged each girl regardless of their talent level. The other thing about the staff that stood out is that there were so many different body types of Instructor. They didn't all look petite and muscular. It was empowering for young girls to see that, because your body type doesn't dictate what you can or cannot do.

I am writing this review to express my deep anger regarding the Jitter Bugs class today (Saturday,…read more12:00 PM, 5/16/2026). My child was only allowed to participate in two out of the three sections. The substitute teacher banned him from the final section, abruptly stating he didn't "meet expectations." As the only minority family in the room, the lack of transparency and fairness felt extremely targeted and discriminatory. When we tried to politely communicate with her to ask for clarification, she showed absolute zero willingness to talk and exhibited a shockingly rude and hostile attitude toward us. This is completely unacceptable behavior for an educator working with young children. We felt targeted, unwelcome, and mistreated. I highly expect the management of Oregon Gymnastics Academy to look into this specific class and address this unprofessional substitute teacher.
