The LaShe's throw! I love the name of the krewe too. It reminds me of a club my friends and I would've started as little girls. This women's krewe has been parading about 25 years, and they roll exactly one week before Fat Tuesday.
This year's theme was Embracing Southern Charm. The floats were awesome, and included a Southern Belle, resembling an Azalea Trail Maid, a Memphis Blues themed float, a Magnolia themed float, a rooster and barn float, just to name a few. There were a few high school bands, but our beloved Excelsior Band didn't march. There were several knights on horses in the parade, the Mobile Baykeepers rode in their boat, the Mobile Bay Bears van and mascot, and the music train.
