She does excellent, old school work, especially for crowns and bridges, which will likely outlive YOU. I especially like that she doesn't use those horrible dental dams. I have visited the Belmont Dental Centre in Langford BC as a new patient without any issues. The…read morehygienist managed to partially clean 4 front teeth with some deposits in about 30 minutes, and wanted me to come back for another session. Then came the new patient exam. I was told that a panoramic x-ray is required, as did not have one in the past 5 years. I agreed to that. Then the dentist came and started to tell me that additional nine (9) x-rays required before the new patient exam. I do not think that without looking on the panoramic x-ray, and without looking on the patient oral condition is reasonable to ask for 9 x-rays. However the dentist insisted. It was the point to walk away. The overall experience is poor. A caring doctor should listen a patients concerns, which in my case was for the excessive x-rays. Was no visual check or looking on the panoramic image was done prior requesting 9 additional x-rays. Overall the worst dental hygienist and worst dentist first impression experience.

The worst place you could possibly go in Victoria. After a disastrous experience, my 88-year-old…read moremother who can't travel was told by rude and incompetent Dr. Andrews that she should go back to Mexico he can't help her anymore! True story. A year later after asking to be referred to a different dentist at this "group" we were told sorry we can't help your mother who has broken a tooth and needs urgent assistance. FYI, the written estimate was only $300 to tighten my mother's loose bridge, and I warned her it would only become worse, take a year of visits, and cost thousands to start over with new implants. But the dentist said it's simple to tighten the screw, she said, and it won't cost much at all. After breaking the bridge, she was left with nothing to eat with for months, had to go to a specialist downtown, and $15,000, and one inconvenient, painful year later, she had new implants and a bridge that wasn't loose. Don't even think about using this place unless you're prepared to hire a lawyer afterward to get compensation for expenses due to deceptive marketing and malpractice.
