i've made multiple appointments at oranje and it NEVER fails my appointment could be at 9:30 and I wont be seen until almost midday waiting hours on hours so what is the point of making an appointment if the client isn't being seen at his appointment time? I have made like 5 plus appointments and every time its always the same ordeal never get seen at the time my appointment is waiting hours just to be finished in 20 seconds they need to do better & be more organized on scheduling clients read more

DR. ORANJE I HOPE THIS FINDS YOU. I will start off by being direct and honest. I've been going to Oranje since I was a teenager when I played sports in high school. The staff has been very unhelpful and unprofessional. I called last week about getting a detailed receipt to submit to my insurance for reimbursement. I spoke to Rose last week who told me that Sharon, who handles billing, was out sick and to try again Thursday. I called again last Thursday and was told to send Sharon an email and to try again Tuesday. It is now Tuesday, Rose tells me to send Sharon an email, labeled URGENT. I did what she asked, and still haven't heard anything. I was also very vocal about this being the last week to submit my claim to my insurance for reimbursement to both Rose and Sharon. I called yesterday and repeated myself again, Rose put me on hold for 10 min. When she answered me, she answered back with an attitude, "HOW CAN I HELP YOU?" I responded, "You told me to hold after I already explained to you my reasoning for calling." She then sends an email to myself and Sharon, again with an "URGENT" request email. I have still yet to hear a response and tomorrow is my last day to file my claim. I gave these people two weeks. They were ineffective, unhelpful and unprofessional. read more

Oranje chiropractic is not a good business what so ever! For starters, you'll set an appt and not be seen till 2-3 hrs after your scheduled appt. The receptionist is not the nicest and doesn't answer any questions directly. For example, I had an appt set for 9:30 and had to wait well over 2hrs to be seen. They are always busy and even with an appt scheduled you are not seen before the walk ins, more like seen after all the walk ins. Not sure why you need to schedule an appt if I'm not going to be seen at least 20mins after my scheduled time. Not to mention the dr himself doesn't properly assess you. I have had to wait for 2+hrs just be seen for less than 1min, NO EXAGGERATION!!!! Terrible terrible terrible. This is also the 3-4th time I've had to wait this long. And when I asked rose what time would be best to come she said "right before 11am because they aren't busy at that time" went in at 10:45am and it is so busy there people are standing outside waiting to just pay and not even be seen yet. Very unprofessional and very unorganized. Highly DO NOT recommend this establishment read more

Came to visit Dr.Oranje due to neck & back pain from heavy use of computer work. Decided to call and book an appointment which was very fast, helpful, & friendly. I believe her name was Rose. Once I arrived for my first visit, she asked for my medical card & ID and to fill out paperwork for being a first timer. Once I got called in I was greeted with a helpful worker to directed me to the room which I then met Dr.Oranje. He asked what I did in the past to see if their was any traumatic history that may cause the pain in my back but already knew what he needed to do. He ran his hands around my body checking for any areas that needed care and boom he knew right away. Layed me down and proceeded to adjust and align what was necessary. He did an amazing job and pin pointed everything I needed' had me walk around to see how I felt, and gave me information on what is to expect and all that. Defiantly coming back, go check them out! 5/5 stars will be coming when I need another adjustment read more

The office was a bit chaotic when I arrived, but then a busy office must mean a great practice. Everyone was cordial and the front desk extremely helpful. It took a while to see Dr. Oranje, but once I did it was amazing. Dr. Oranje was very personable and made me feel at ease during my first chiropractic appointment ever. Overall I had a good experience here. Really nice, patient, understanding, & accommodation people working in here. Office appeared clean & organized. The adjustment, at first, caused more pain in my neck than I had when I got there... but after resting at home for awhile, it gradually subsided and I felt great!! Initial cost was high at $95, which I wasn't happy about, and really made no sense bc nothing special happened on this visit except a $45 adjustment! These businesses should realize that it's more of a deterrent for new customers bc if I hadn't planned on driving to Tahoe in the morning, I would have taken my time & found an office with little or no "initial" cost. Oh well, convenience fee I guess. The long story.... Ever so often, I start getting headaches from neck irritation, sometimes leading to severe, vomit-inducing migraines, ugh. About two weeks ago, the neck thing started along with headaches. I put it off for as long as I could since my chiropractor is in the Sacramento area (Elk Grove). Finally, got fed up and desperate for relief so I called around locally. On a Friday afternoon, I was looking for a same-day appointment that would include an adjustment, not just an "initial consultation, second appointment adjustment" garbage! After calling a ton of places with a lot of reviews, I called this office (having only 2 reviews total!) around 5pm. They offered same-day appointments AND first-visit adjustments, yaaayy! But they closed at 6pm and had no more openings :( She offered me a squeeze-in if I arrived immediately, which I accepted and raced over. Got invited to wedding in San Diego. I felt "nostalgic" for the younger days and decided to drive down (15 hours) instead of flying (2 hours). Yup... And of course, what drives down, must drive back up. By the time I was passing the city of Pittsburg, my back felt like a hot steel rod was being pushed through it. I couldn't feel my toes anymore. I got on Yelp and looked for a couple high rated Chiropractors. 5 came up. 2 didn't answer the phone, the third said they were booked, and the 4th wanted me to purchase a "wellness" program including full x-rays from them. No thank you! I called Dr. Oranje and receptionist told me that she'd feel more comfortable to let the doctor make the decision of me being seen on an emergency without x-rays and whatnot. I rolled my eyes, and before I could speak, Dr. Oranje on the phone introducing himself. So, I explained my situation, he said that he can do a no-cost initial exam for me so I shouldn't hesitate about coming in, explained that he would do one-hour treatment of ice, then ultra-sound, then laser, and in the meantime he would take it upon himself to call my regular chiropractor in my hometown to send a copy of my chart and x-rays over. He reaffirmed that I wouldn't be required to 'buy" anything from him. WOW! Showed up at the office, it is huge, and the staff was really nice. A very kind lady named, Rose had all filled out most of the paperwork for me going off of the stuff sent over by my regular doctor, another wonderful lady named, Judy gave me a tour of the office and took me to an exam room. And 10 minutes later Doctor Oranje himself came in, copy of my chart note in hand. He already knew about my fusion and explained the process of the treatment to me, I started with ice packs, then Doctor Oranje explained to another staff member how and where to do the ultrasound, then he gave me an amazing adjustment and asked if I wanted to stay a while longer to get a massage from their on-site massage therapist. I felt like I was at a spa, not a chiropractor's office. I left his office so feeling VIP and so relieved, and he gave me a gel icepack to use for the rest of the trip. The oddities of life and how random AMAZING occurrences happen. For me to be in that much, happen to be driving through this city, call 5 doctors, and wind up with meeting such an amazing healer. I have been seeing Drs. Oranje and Moss for approximately a year now, and I am so thankful that my primary physician referred me to this office, specifically. This isn't just about the excellent care that I receive from this office, though I really do receive quality care. I often do need to remind them of specific injury sites that need attention, but that is to be expected when there are several issues to deal with consistently. My true reason for this review is the people; the absolutely wonderful, caring people that run this office. I truly love them, one and all. They are a very special group of people, and I feel very fortunate to have them in my life at this time. They are efficient and kind, and I will be sad indeed to have my care come to an end. I hope I can find a way to keep them in my life, even after this ends. I have had several experiences with other chiropractic offices, and This is the one! I would refer them to almost anyone, especially positive energy people. I always feel better, especially after a long massage and a good adjustment. And they are so nice, I have seen them accept new first time patients, at the end of their long business day, with no hesitation, though it was quitting time. This is the most unprofessional place I have ever been to. I showed up early to do new patient paperwork at 130. The lady at the desk and the staff were very nice. I was told to wait in the room and after 30 or so min one of the assitents walked in and said it would be a little longer. I asked what was gong on?and I was told that the chiropractor takes naps at the marina, and he s still sleeping. They have been trying to call him and was unable to. I was in really bad back pain which is why I came in. If this guy can't wake up from his nap on time, he should retire. What a joke!!! read more
