The establishment is located in the strip mall right across the street from Willowbrook mall. Enough free parking and I've never had a problem. The studio is in shape of an L and the numbering system on all the equipment is apparently a little "backwards" from most other locations, but I don't mind. I have had classes with a few different coaches and they each have their own style and way of infusing fun and motivation into the classes. There is a basic structure to the classes, but the exercises are always a little different so you never feel like you are doing the exact same workout twice. Complimentary use of the shower as long as you bring your own towel. I like this location because the staff and coaches take the time to get to know you as a person especially if they are a new face to you. They were already greeting me by name on my second visit. A very nice touch that brings a smile to my face before my workout! Admittedly it is a little pricier than your standard gym membership and you have to another upfront cost for use of the heart monitor. It also works better if you download the app and sign up for classes ahead of time. But if you feel like you need someone to guide you through a workout and you push yourself more as a result of it (I know I do), then OrangeTheory Fitness is worth a consideration.

I started off by attending classes 2x a week but then increased my plan to unlimited. The staff are wonderful. Whenever I've had an issue or a concern, the issue has been dealt with quickly and professionally. I love how each class is different and targets one's endurance, strength or power. The coaches are inspiring and push members to do their best. If they feel that you can lift heavier weights or increase your speed little more on the treadmill, they'll push you to do it. They get to know people's names which creates a sense of belonging. I love how there are people of varying places in their healthy living journey at the gym. No one is there to judge. Everyone is there with one goal in mind. I highly recommend this gym!

I would probably give Orange Theory 3.5 stars if that were possible. I actually really like the…read moreconcept of Orange Theory. It kind of "gameifies" fitness by having you look up at a screen attached to a heart monitor to see your heart rate and calories burned. There's an element of competition against yourself, and beating previous records for "splat points" (minutes spent in the orange zone). As a 90s kid, I like that it has a vaguely rave-like atmosphere, which it possibly borrowed from certain boutique spin classes. I really appreciate that it's coach-led because I wouldn't be able to motivate myself to work out with this intensity without someone a cheerleader offering instructions and encouragement. I figured out pretty quickly which coaches I vibed with, and went out of my way to choose their classes. I typically burned just over 500 calories per class, which fit really well with my fitness goals. Everyone here is super fit, which is a little intimidating, but speaks to the effectiveness of Orange Theory. I didn't quite feel like I fit in here though, and after a few months ended up deciding to just going back to reviewing pasta restaurants instead. I might have stayed on with OT Fitness longer if the classes had worked better with my schedule.

I already have a gym membership near my work so I'm just looking for another one to supplement. The gym entrance and exit points are kind of odd and also it feels like a basement when walking in. The manager at the gym, Chris Tsao, is super nice. He personally showed me around the gum and made sure I have all my questions answered. The gym has 2 areas: 1) the reception area with some cardio and pin-loaded weight machines, some free weights and access to the pool, sauna and steam. The cardio machines tend to sit closer to the TV. 2) Walk back out of to the main hallway and down the hall to the bigger area. This area is where all the racks, plate-loaded machines, bigger dual cable machines are located. It is also where they have TRX and sled section, fitness class section, and a tanning room. It looks like they also have access to acupunct upure and RMT on certain days (extra fee). Both sides have their own change room. As my main goal is to look for mostly leg and glutes machines, I noticed that they do not have: - GHR machine - Sitting leg press - Hip thrust machine - Abductor machine - Air conditioning (may be a problem in the summer) What they do have is: - 2 Rogue squat racks (one of them should be swapped with the Smith machines as not as many people use it) - 2 Smith machines - 1 older squat rack - 2 reverse hack squats - 1 hack squat - 1 DL platform - 2 or 3 BB benches - Tons of plate-loaded upper body machines - 2 or 3 cable cross over machines Please note that the gym equipment are all older models (think 70's/80's). All the machines function properly and you will have no problem building that body. The sanitary squeeze bottle is by the paper towels for equipment wipe down. The gym has cubby holes for your stuff or lockers in change rooms if you being your own lock. The few days that I was there I didn't have to wait for any equipment, but I always went early in the morning so I can't tell you how busy it is at peak hours. I was told the initial start up fee is $69 (includes 1st month free), and then it's $40 per month with no long contracts, just a minimum 3 month commitment.  There is free 3 hour parking for the members. Unfortunately, this gym doesn't have the equipment that I need and for that, I am out.

This is a real crossfit gym that you must visit!…read more I am a crossfit newbie and have absolutely no idea about the crossfit. Prior to sign up the crossfit, my friends worn me about how crossfit work out would break down my body(causing injuries), and this was true if you workout like "no brainer" or "inappropriate way" you would high risk for injury. However, the Crossfit 604 gym have totally changed my idea of the crossfit. During the class, two coaches constantly look for your forms and they approach you right away to correct your bad form to prevent potential injury and maximize the result. It's been for 3 months with Crossfit604 and my physical strength and mental capability for getting our of stress are already beyond my expectation. Of course, there are a lot of rules to follow. I am not sure how often it changes but I don't care of it, because most rules are made based on common senses. We are from all around the world and share the different cultures together. However, we mostly share the similar common senses to each other. Let's take it positively about the rules. Having strict rules means your right as a gym member will not be offended by other members. This is not like your a casual local gym. We pay more membership fee to receive a better service and bring the better result. I have met several amazing people already, and they were willing to help me if I came to then asked for help(one point tips or lesson, but do not ask them a lot. Their time is important too).

Walked all over downtown just to find this location & it isn't hard to find. This box was recommended through a friend whose hotel was a couple blocks away. What a great way to start our vacation with a WOD! As crazy as we were, we settled to do a workout the day before the SeaWheeze Lululemon half marathon. The coaches were aware & wanted us to go "light" for the day. Check-in: - 5 Canadian dollar drop in fee! That is surprisingly the best price I've ever dropped in a box for. - They have iPads to check you in, sign up with your name & info, enter in your credit card info, & you're in! - Gentleman up front took care of us since we came in a little late trying to find this place. Informed us where the bathrooms, place to put our belongings, & equipment. WOD: - We're coming from the US so anywhere other than the US counts in KILOS! lol. Had to calculate our pounds real quick. - Easy dubs, lunges, squats, & snatch strength. - They use a flatscreen TV to type out their WODs! how cool! Box: - CF604 is fully equipped with a huge rig in the middle. - Bathrooms have showers in them. - Very well organized & clean box. - Community looks big & they have a CrossFit games/regionals history! - Coaches are very well adaptive, encouraging, kindly introduced themselves, & kept a look out for our safety since we were doing cardio the following day. - They take good care of their equipment. One of their rules: *Do not drop the barbell with ANY black colored plates on them. The only time they may be dropped is when the colored plates are on!* Purchased a CF604 shirt for $10! That is another plus for their good prices! They automatically charged me through the card I entered in from checking in & I was out the door satisfied with a shirt & a good sweat session. We also wanted to grab breakfast nearby & they gave us recommendations between Chambar & another location. We were told where to be careful not to walk near downtown & go through their more "safe" streets. Thank you, the food was a good recovery after that WOD!
