I had Hunter come by and spoke to him and I looked up the reviews and I felt comfortable paying a $23,000 deposit. The permits for the HOA and the Orange County came in very fast and they literally scheduled us within two weeks. I was extremely pleased with the crew. They showed up every morning at 6:30 in the morning and they left at 7:30 at night and it took about two weeks. I had a major concern with the open-ended nature of the contract regarding extras, but we were able to work it out in a very nice fashion with compromising respect. After they were finished the Orange County roofing inspector came and borrowed my ladder to go up on the roof and said it's the best roof he's ever seen. I have been through several heavy downpour and so far no leaks so I figure it's good for many years. A couple of things needed to be finished up and they came back and finished everything up with a very professional fashion. I was so pleased. I fed them every day. I would highly recommend this company. Hunter and Jim answered all my questions in a very timely fashion both before during and after which is a big deal to me. It's not always just money while that is a big concern, but also customer service.

I signed contract, sent in deposit... and they did all the rest They called me and said they would be there Thursday, and they were there bright and early, They ripped off old shingles, cut out and patched rotted wood, ripped an unused chimney out, renailed deck, membraned the roof and got rough inspection. Friday shingles came and they were done by 2. Roof looks great, they swept everything up and left the house just like they found it... not 1 nail to be found on the ground... got final inspection and passed The real test came on sunday when it rained pretty good... no leaks...perfect.. gutters came on tuesday and went up without a hitch. What a nightmare!…read more Century roofing replaced our roof after hurricane Milton, and destroyed our home due to their poor workmanship and complete lack of accountability to repair properly. Our roof was "completed" on January 4, 2025 and immediately started collecting pools of water under the roofing material. We contracted for a modified bitumen flat roof replacement with a hard 3/8" silicone protective coating. That style roof is tightly bonded to the underlying hard material. What they installed, without our knowledge nor consent, was a loose plastic sheeting that was poorly attached at the edges with a thin 3/4" flashing and sealed with acrylic caulking. none of that would have passed a building inspection. Did I mention that they never pulled a permit, as required by law? Well the acrylic caulking melted away on the first warm day (which is almost any day in Florida). Water constantly built up under the cheap plastic roofing material and we could feel waves whenever we walked on it. The expensive silicone coating that was to harden more than concrete within six months, never bonded and crumbled like sand to the touch. Our home interior became unusable for months due to ceiling collapse, water damage and mold. it smelled horrible for months. We reported the problem immediately, and often until October, when we realized that they would never repair it. They had sent people to randomly caulk areas to "fix" the leak, even though it was apparent that the entire seal was faulty and that the materials under the cheap plastic were full of water and mold. One time, the home office sent a crew to replace one piece of underpayment, which they did while completely ignoring that all of the surrounding wood and materials b egg low the plastic were very wet and moldy. The owner himself even came out and declared the roof to be dry and properly installed. we have videos from before and after his visit showing puddles of water below the cheap plastic material. We never once went onto our roof from January until October without feeling those puddles under our feet. Iur flat roof is actually our terrace that we use regular. it was clear that their repairs were never going to fix the problem and our home would remain unusable until we hired someone to replace their work in the flat roof. Both areas of flat roof needed to be completely removed and started from scratch. So we had to pay another roofer to do that. A few days after the owner of Century declared the roof good, the new roofer pulled it up and found 80% of the wood was rotten due to water damage and mold. None of the industry standard methods of sealing the roof had been performed. Just short cut after short cut. We also had to pay another contractor to remediate the water damage and mold throughout the interior of the house that all came from the century roofing installation. We had just redone the interior earlier in the year after hurricane Milton, so everything was good before the horrible roof from century destroyed it. I wish that I could say something positive about Century Roofing, but I had to pay to replace my roof twice plus several thousand dollars more to remediate the damage caused by their poor workmanship and defective construction.

BUT. even though I only hired him to clean the gutters and clean the facia, he cleaned SO MUCH MORE and SO WELL! The roof looks like it just had a major facelift treatment. I know his attention to detail also likely improved the life of our roof. Lastly, even though I knew he did more than I bid on, he told me he won't go over the price he quoted. Don't bother calling the owner On Monday, Sept 16th, I called and spoke to Brian Delaney, he was not concerned at all about my roof and the poor craftsmanship. He said to me "we have customers who are upset when we replace to much wood, and we have customers who are upset if we don't replace enough" WTF of course customers would be mad if you don't replace enough wood! After finding out the insurance was paying, they immediately call to get contracts signed so they can get paid!! They use any trick they can to get you to sign...in our case a free cruise (June). After months of delays because the sales rep was fired or left or I do not know (I was only told he was not there when I called to follow up- no one told me) & negotiating with the insurance co and pulling permits, I had a new hole in my ceiling which I could have charged them but did not (July- see pictures attached). When the roof was completed (August), they were still trying to negotiate the price....I was told to fill out the cruise form. I paid in September & called the office to have them send me an updated form...... and Jessica said it was no longer valid...Actually hung up on me! Not very impressed. I have 3 roofs to replaced and I will be taking my business elsewhere based on the cruise issue promised from Steve
