The store is very dated and not in the nicest part of the city but the staff make you feel very welcome. To look at this place you would probably avoid it but they arranged my wedding hire without a hitch. The groom, best man, fathers and page boys looked fantastic and they actually had to remind me about a lot of things. They obviously have a lot of experience as they could tell my husbands size just from looking at him! Rather like are you being served but were really great.

She SCREAMED at my little ( 8 year old ) sister for 'standing too close' to the makeup counters ( making her cry and now she won't go back ). I then watched her SNATCH a nail varnish off a woman stating that 'YOU CANNOT OPEN THAT'. She literally hadn't opened it. I then have been again since and she shouted at myself for picking up a Blusher ( I didn't open it ), she then forced me to give it to her before she put it in a basket and walked off with it. It just really makes me not want to go back at all and it was my favourite local shop. She's just awful and entitled and terrifies me to be honest. Let's the entire team down.

Quite a large newsagents, with a Post Office at the back. They sell loads of magazines, books,…read moretoys, confectionery and stationery. Service could do with a little bit of a brush-up but it isn't awful. It does get very busy, especially the Post Office and you can expect to queue. They do the National Lottery as well which adds to the queues and I think - but don't quote me on it - they have a photo booth at the back of the store.

The shop is quite narrow but long which does create bottlenecks near the doors at times. Other wise it is a very well laid out store. They have a book ordering service if they do not have in what you require. They can also order magazines that they do not stock. The staff are generally friendly and cheerful and upstairs in the media section are very knowledgable and helpful.

There were a lot of stoves on display in store, some lit and working and the information on the product was readily available. The prices were all given in advance and everything was taken care of, from start to finish. Great store, highly recommended. They tell me that they are opening a solid fuel store soon selling coals and logs etc which will be very useful as we have struggled a little to locate this locally.

Also the tiles were crooked with gaps you could see brick behind The fitter wouldn't return our calls until we contacted the shop, and even then didn't turn up. We had to get the shop manager out to see the fire, and he acknowledged it was obviously wrong. A replacement was ordered, but while the tiles could have been fitted better, there was nothing they could do. We are left with a thick visible white line of sealant in full view.
