If you are looking for a awesome Vet , look no further. Dr Ryan is the best and our Stella and Sabrina loved him and his assistant Kelsey and the best part is he comes to your home. Sadly I had to ask him to put our Stella down after she had a Stroke. She was 16 1/2 years old and was such a wonderful part of our family. I was able to be in the Van and watch the procedure and it was so calm and peaceful and so much better than having it done in a busy clinic. My husband and I and our little Sabrina have moved back to Northern California and we really miss Dr Ryan and Kelsey. Wishing all the best to them both. Thank you for your wonderful care of our doggies.

I Have to give a huge shout out to Dr. Ryan Lefmann and his team, this is the BEST veterinarian situation one could ask for, and Dr Ryan is so professional and loving of animals and it shows!!! I am so happy I discovered OC Mobile Vet! His van is exquisite and super clean and state of the art! He is very comparable and less expensive than most procedures needed for your pets. He has capabilities for full surgery and can set you up with post op in home, does teeth cleaning and extraction, and all the normal pet care you normally have to get the pets in their carriers and stress them out etc. Instead, I simply carried my cat out to him and he was all set, no freaking out for the carrier or tearing my arms up. While he worked on my pets teeth I was able to be inside getting work done, so convenient! Check him out! Let him know I referred you! Cheers!

Our beloved family dog needed to be put to rest and we wanted it to be done in the comfort of our own home. I reached out to OC Mobile Vet and they responded promptly and came to our house that afternoon. They were very patient and supportive during their visit, and did not rush. I would say it was the best of a sad situation.

The published phone number hangs up before you can leave a message. I've tried to repeat it. Not a good look.

Ask the Community - Orange County Mobile Vet

Does anyone know how to get in touch with Dr Ryan Lefmann.used to be with Better Vets?

Did a bit of research and it looks like Dr. Ryan moved to Colorado in 2024. What a big loss to the animal care community in Orange County!

Hi, my dog Tonky was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney disease on Oct 30 and the vet recommended IV therapy. He is very fearful of the vet so I am hoping you do provide this service?…

i AM SURE BEST vET KNOWS WERE HE HAS GONE, BUT THEY WONT TELL YOU.

Sendero has always been so great at getting us in during all of those moments. They have been so informative and really helped me make the best decisions on food and treats and chews and all the stuff that comes along with a dog. I hadn't had a dog in quite awhile and it really helps to have some solid advice and perspective from the different doctors and techs we've seen over the course of the last two years. Each person is always so helpful from the moment we walk in and I'm truly appreciative of their care for my pup.

My dog had significant inflammation in multiple areas of his paw, including between the toes. However, the veterinarian did not examine the underside of his foot or the interdigital webbing, which is where a large portion of the problem was visible. Instead, I was immediately encouraged to proceed with a needle aspirate and cell analysis quoted at approximately $600-$700. I was uncomfortable moving forward with that without first addressing the obvious inflammation and possible infection. I was also quoted additional fees (around $65) to clean a single wound on one toe, while the rest of the paw condition was not discussed or treated. I asked for oral antibiotics and was told no he did not need them, I was prescribed one ointment called Anamax $35, even after I expressly asked for oral antibiotics she said no he did not need them, (the first thing the other hospital i.e. the second vet said, "we need to get him on oral antibiotics for six weeks as well as steroids", we started that protocol and within one day, I've seen huge improvements.) more in this,. After leaving Sendero, My dog was in so much pain, I sought care elsewhere. The second veterinarian examined the entire paw, including between the toes, and treated him with appropriate medications as mentioned above ( oral antibiotics and oral anti-inflammatory medications ). He has already shown noticeable improvement. I paid about $110 for this visit at Sendero and did not feel that my dog received a thorough evaluation or appropriate initial care. Based on this experience, I would not feel comfortable returning or recommending this clinic.

This 1 star review is for the administration and front desk people. A few days ago we started our dog on an antibiotic pill. It was 3 days tops and our dog started to have a bad reaction so we called to explore an alternative option which we were told would be a $200 shot. We asked if there was a way to credit the antibiotic pill charge seeing as though he had an adverse affect and were told no, that the office manager stated that was not possible. When I asked if I could speak to the office manager I was told no. When I asked if I could speak with Dr. Pat, I was told no and that I'd have to schedule and pay for an in person consultation. I asked if he could please call me back and I was told no. I asked if there was anyone else above the front desk girl I could speak with to dispute the charge and I was told no. This is a terrible business practice and it's left such a bad impression for me. Dr. Pat is a great guy and I can't imagine that he would not allow for his customers to dispute a charge.

They are always super responsive and incredibly accommodating. I really appreciate that they text me ahead of time within their arrival window so I can plan around errands or make sure I'm home -- that level of communication alone sets them apart. During visits, I never feel rushed. They truly take their time and meet Dory where she's at. Sometimes Dory can be a little anxious with acupuncture, and instead of forcing anything, we work together to find different ways to make the session as calm and stress-free as possible. The vet is open, honest, and collaborative -- I never feel upsold or pressured into anything. The results have been amazing. I noticed a huge improvement even after the very first (mini) session. Dory is 13 years old, and her hind legs had been very tight and clearly bothering her. Since starting acupuncture every two weeks, her hind legs look so much better. She's running up the stairs again, pulling me on walks, and even jumped off the bed last week -- things I honestly didn't expect to see again. What I also really value is that Sunnyside Vet works with my regular vet. They communicate, listen to what my primary vet has to say, and truly function as a team with one goal: doing what's best for Dory. They were also very honest about treatment frequency, explaining that some pets need less and some need more, which I appreciated. If you're even considering acupuncture or mobile veterinary care, I highly recommend at least calling Sunnyside Vet for an initial visit. They've made such a positive difference in my older baby's quality of life, and I'm incredibly grateful.

I wouldn't recommend this vet. They were nice and polite, however what happened with my senior…read moredog's care was unacceptable. My dog has a UTI and we were prescribed Amoxi/Clav based on culture results. I told Dr Miyata we had an existing bottle in the fridge from a prior emergency visit. I sent a picture, and she approved us using it. It had been reconstituted 24 days earlier (dispense date was in the picture), but since it was refrigerated and the vet said it was okay, I trusted her guidance. When I went to the pharmacy for a refill, I was told that liquid Amoxi/Clav expires 10 days after reconstitution, even in the refrigerator. So that means that my dog received ineffective medication this entire time. If I hadn't picked up a refill, I would never have known. When I notified the vet, she said she was "under the impression the bottle wasn't reconstituted." Huh?! But in the picture, the medication was clearly a liquid suspension, refrigerated, labeled "shake well," and had the dispense date. I have NEVER been dispensed Amoxi/Clav in powder form in my life. The explanation felt more like avoiding responsibility than acknowledging what happened. My dog is extremely fragile with CKD. We cannot afford delays or ineffective medication. This isn't about whether the outcome changes; it's about basic medical standards. You don't throw a lifejacket with holes to someone who's drowning just because they're already drowning. Expired or ineffective medication should never be approved. This felt negligent and dismissive, and that's why I can't trust this vet. I get that mistakes happen -- maybe she didn't look at the picture closely. We're all human. But what matters is owning them, being transparent, and correcting them. Instead, I was met with an explanation that didn't make sense at all and minimized what happened.
