Wish I had read these reviews prior to booking. All the negative feedback is spot on. Roberto called me back the morning after I had spoken to him but "he was too busy at the moment" to book my ride. Should have known based on that experience. Calls me, confirms my ride for 4 people from a restaurant to the Va Beach Ampitheatre and then a pickup after the show to our Airbnb. Paul was assigned to pick us up at 6:15. We pop out of the restaurant on time, no car and I text him and he says oh sorry I had a flat tire. Really? 12 hours before I had a confirmation...wouldn't one think if that truly happened that another car would be called in? Reached out to Roberto who said don't communicate with me any more. In reflection, based on the crazy driving reports on these reviews I am lucky Paul didn't show. Do yourself a favor, please avoid this company at all costs. Anyone who operates in such a manner should be out of business. read more

If I could leave them negative stars I would. First, when I called the "gentleman" who answered the phone was an a**hole. We had six people and needed a mini van. It was the dirtiest vehicle I've been in. The driver was very rude and attempted to take us a round about way. That's the quick version of our experience. This company is the reason why Uber is so successful. read more

Was there for me in a pinch for a last minute pick-up from Oceana. Nothing special, but has military base access and gets the job done.

2/6/19 this morning cab #49 cut off FOUR cars in front of me before cutting me off. I had to literally hit my break to the floor - mind you I have a 7 month old BABY in my car. I beeped my horn and the driver proceeded to slam on his breaks/break-check 2 separate times out of anger. He then stopped dead in the middle of the road to prove a point I'm guessing - real smart guy . He had a full van, so I'm sure his passengers were extremely happy with their ride. Had the nerve to drive so poorly with a "How's my driving" sticker on the back. I called the number 3 times with no answer. I then called the dispatcher who voiced his "concern". I requested a follow up call and no one has called me back. Really unprofessional and UNSAFE. I have reported this cab driver to authorities. Go with Uber or Lyft...... read more

Red Xs should be an option instead of stars for this company! I called the night before I needed a ride to the airport and scheduled a 7:45 pick up with the dispatcher, Lavern. He/she had the driver, "Tamie", call me back to confirm the time and location. The next morning they called (while I was in the shower) to "reconfirm" and since I didn't answer, they CANCELED the pick up! When I saw the message I called the driver who wouldn't pick up. I called dispatch and they had no record of it and no drivers! They are rude, illiterate and incompetent! read more

There are some companies which you just should avoid Orange Taxi Service of Virginia Beach is one. I made online reservations on January 12 or 13 for a taxi to the airport on Friday January 16th. I received the email confirmation, so I thought great, the company responded and confirmed. Come Friday morning no Orange Taxi service to take me to the airport. Luckily we were able to call a friend to drive us at 5:00 AM to Norfolk airport. To make matters worst the number on the email did not match the number on the internet. When I finally reached someone he said all online requests were handled by the owner. Well never again and I advise the same to you. read more

Didn't even have to take a cab to be pissed off at this company. One of their drivers came flying through a stop sign merging onto London bridge as I was coming out of NAS Oceana. If I hadn't been paying attention I would have annihilated him. And I had my three year old daughter in the back. Called them and told hem what happened. They were like. We'll have a manager call you. Yeah right. Go fuck yourselves Orange Cab. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!! UNRELIABLE AND UNDEPENDABLE!!!! NO SHOW!!!! DO NOT CALL THE ORANGE CAB COMPANY OF VIRGINIA BEACH EVER!!!!! I am giving this nightmare of a company one star only because I HAVE to give it something to leave my review. What a horrible awful experience I had with these people. In mid February I called for a cab the day before to pick me up. A woman answered and she didn't sound professional at all. Something told me to hang up but I was desperate for a ride because my car was in the shop and I couldn't get a rental because they were closed. I could hear a lot of noise in the background and I thought I'd give her the benefit of the doubt - WHAT A MISTAKE!!!! I should've gone with my gut instinct!!! Next morning, it was pouring rain. I waited 15 minutes for the cab. No show, I called and a man answered and he sounded like he just woke up, probably because of my phone call. He said he'd be here in 10 min. I told him I was going to start walking and told him where he could pick me up. I wait another 15 minutes. Still no show And at this point I had already waited 25 min and still no show!!!! I called back and asked him where he was and he said "I don't know" and I asked him what is the cross street he's on and again he said he didn't know. I asked him if he had even left yet. I told him he was incompetent and I was going to call his boss and talk to him but I never did because it sounded like a husband and wife team. If you want a dependable, reliable cab PLEASE DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!! THEY HAVE HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!! read more

If I could give them zero, I would. We were picked up from the ampitheater to go to Atlantic Ave. The driver was going to charge us like crazy. The rate of speed that he was going would have killed us on impact if we had hit anything. I told him I was petrified. He dropped us off at the $26 dollar mark. I took Lyft going...should have taken them returning as well. read more

Horrible company. I reserved a cab in advance to take me to the airport and they never showed. When I called a rude woman told me she could not do anything to help me because their are no cabs available. In order to not miss my flight I had to drive my car and park it in the long term parking lot at $9.00 a day. With this type of service there is no way they will be in business much longer. They are not going to see their bad service as the reason. They will find a way to blame Uber and Lyft. read more
