I have been going to Hair Flair for 15+ years. It's actually where almost everyone in my family…read moregoes (male and female). The decor recently had an upgrade to black chairs and sleek blue-gray paint. You will still be met with 6-8 chairs of the old fashioned blow dryers that sit over your head. I see Kiki although there are about 3-5 hair dressers that rent their space in this salon. Kiki has always told me if she thinks the haircut style I want will actually work with my hair. She is a little older (50s I'd say) but is willing to cut from a magazine while using her judgement and expertise. Ask for an honest opinion from her and you will get it. You are not going to pay $100 here for a cut and blow dry. No wine or free drinks (other than a pot of coffee) waiting for you. No special hand massage, massaging chair, etc. at this salon. There is a nail salon (natural and acrylic) and waxing. I have never used these services, but the prices are very reasonable. Pros: Lots of free parking in the space. Easily found and established business. Usually on-time. Saturdays tend to get backed up by 10-15 minutes. Friendly hairdressers. A great hair cut/color for a GREAT price. Cons: You will find lots of little elderly ladies and their health providers here on a Saturday. Sometimes kids of the workers are around "helping out". Meaning sweeping up cut hair. No soft playing music, just chatter of a southern beauty salon. I have only paid cash and check, I am not sure if they take cards.

I've been to this Drybar location several times in the past, but unfortunately the quality has gone…read moredown considerably. My last two visits were very disappointing. I specifically asked for tight curls and was given loose curls instead. The stylist didn't even show me the finished style or ask if I was satisfied before moving on, which felt dismissive and unprofessional. I was also told I would be charged extra for detangling -- which I understand -- but if I'm paying more, I expect the service to be completed properly and with attention to detail. Overall, the customer service and styling quality were lacking. I've had much better experiences at other Drybar locations, so I'll be going elsewhere moving forward. This location really needs more skilled stylists and stronger customer service standards.

Hot water continued flowing directly onto my face, burning my scalp. The stylist, Dani, then…read moreattempted to pressure me into booking her privately outside of Drybar, which I declined. Once seated in her chair, I clearly explained that I am sensitive to excessive pulling. Despite this, she began detangling my hair aggressively without using any detangler, then proceeded to blow-dry my hair roughly. She moved on to flat-ironing my hair using excessive heat and burned the back of my neck in the process. When I asked her not to do that again, she dismissed my concern, told me I was over-exaggerating, and slammed the flat iron onto the counter. It fell to the floor, narrowly missing my legs. At that point, I stood up immediately. Three incidents were more than enough to show a complete disregard for my safety and the care of my hair. It felt clear that she was eager to move on to the next client--a customer of a different cultural background--whom she spoke to and treated with noticeably more respect than she did me. I then spoke with the store manager to cancel my subscription and was told it could not be canceled for three months (for which was not communicated prior before saying yes). On July 28, 2025, I sent a formal email--including the store manager and corporate contacts--requesting cancellation and a detail breakdown of what took place. To date, no one has followed up, and my subscription has not been canceled. I have continued to be charged $45 every month through February 2026. I will be taking this matter further. I am beyond dissatisfied and deeply disappointed by the lack of care, professionalism, and basic customer service--particularly toward customers of color, myself included. I do not recommend Drybar and especially this location.
