She was cordial enough and is insightful at "reading" people, but this has more to do with being savvy than psychic. Her reading was very general ("Someone with a J in their name...it could be a first name or the last name..." Really??). The winery is changing the vibe of this neighborhood for the better. Majority of the neighbors love it here and the winery is creating jobs for people in the immediate area, which is needed and wonderful. They source their hybrid vines which are grafted, from Cornell University grapes. Their wines have great names such as Swoon, Sassy, or Crimson! All the wine is cold pressed and made on site. They quark all their wine and make about 5,000 bottles per year. Mansfield Frazier is the owner with his lovely wife Brenda. They personally run the joint and take great care of their costumers and wine. I was here for a 20+ person event with the Cornell Alumni Club and they did a fabulous job accommodating everyone! There is plenty of parking and space to walk around outside. There is a bit of seating inside and very knowledgeable staff around to talk about their products. Their hours of operation vary so you should call the number on the door and the owner could possibly be there in minutes. 216-438-0964 They do not have snacks for sale at the moment, but you are welcome to bring your own to eat inside. FYI - In the future they would love to take down the old abandon building, which was once a church next door and grow the wine making facility with a gift shop, market and better space to host more costumers. I won 2 tickets from Yelp to come to a dance show here on 9 December 2018. The show that I attended…read morewas titled INTERPLAY: An Evening of Ekphrastic Dance. This was not a Yelp event but a SPACES event. I attended on a Friday night with my friend and former roommate. SPACES is a venue located west of downtown Cleveland where works of art are displayed just as you would find in an art gallery but they also have events throughout the year. The show I attended was very different for me and my first time experiencing this type of art form. Some people may find interpretive dance strange but if you come with an open mind then you will enjoy it or at least leave experiencing something different. I will rate my experience 4.5/5. I misread the program pamphlet but I later found out that 2 different artists were performing at the same time so attendees could select who they wanted to watch. I didn't know this at first so I did miss one performance (by an artist named Robert) which is fine. The performances were actually repeated for people who showed up later to the evening (there was a 2 hour window to walk around and watch the performances). It is hard to explain this show but you can take a look at my posted videos for further details. My favourite piece was the woman who performed a movement dance detailing her feelings with the local media. She had newspapers lined up on the floor and at one point started laughing and crying to express her feelings. Many of the other dancers like her had amazing balance, core strength, and flexibility. They were all very talented in their own unique way. Here is the official dance show description - "Six local choreographers converge to create movement poetry in a vivid portrayal of modern art. View original works from diverse perspectives and watch art literally come to life." I recommend visiting SPACES on a weeknight or weekend. It is a fun environment and encourages you to open up your artistic side if you aren't normally inclined to do so. I will definitely have to come back here to explore more of the featured art on the walls. Their gallery hours during exhibitions are Tuesdays - Sundays from 12:00noon - 5:00pm, Thursdays until 8pm, and closed on Mondays. https://www.spacesgallery.org/ *** - This is my 159th Yelp review overall (updated reviews not included in this number). - I have written 113 Yelp reviews in 2018. - I'm now aiming for 200 total reviews before 2018 ends (just 41 reviews left to meet my goal....haha).

This place seems quite popular, especially on a weekend. There was a steady stream of patrons coming in the door. Yelper tip: They take appointments in case you want to secure a specific time to come in. On the hair review! My hair was done my McKenzie. I have very long and thick hair and I find it hard to curl my hair evenly with a flat iron- especially in the back. McKenzie did a great job, I got compliments all night, and what's more, the curls held up until the next day :) They ensure the use of heat protectant in this salon, so no worries on your tresses. Thanks to capable, I was able to get my makeup done and pick up my dress with time to spare for the evening. One of the most difficult things about this review is going to be choosing only 10 pictures to include. I found a great shot everywhere I turned. I must have over 25 pics to choose from and being limited to only 10 is going to be tough. But... here we go... So, we stumbled across "Motor Bettie Boutique" in a TV show we were watching. It sounded so cool we just had to find it and visit. Well it turns out "Motor Bettie Boutique" is just 1 of 6 vendors that make up "LAUNCHPAD Asiatown" in a beautiful old manufacturing/warehouse facility on East 40th and Kelley Ave. in downtown Cleveland. The building looks to have been built in the early 1900's in the heyday of Cleveland. It is in really nice condition and is clearly a story in and of itself. At first it was a little tough to find the business after we easily located the building. Mainly because we didn't know the correct name. Look for "LAUNCHPAD Asiatown" on the rather small signage. After a very kind gentleman gave us directions, we ventured through the cavernous hallways to the freight elevator and up to the 3rd floor. Quite an adventure, and exciting. Then, as we passed through the doorway from the hall into the business it was like... hmmm? It was like that scene in the Wizard of Oz when Dorothy opens the front door after the house lands with a thump. The film goes from totally black & white to glorious FULL color. WOW!!! Spectacular! It really was amazing. We entered a giant room lined on every side by floor to ceiling windows bringing in loads of sunshine and lighting the room and all it's marvelous contents. It was like walking into an impressionist painting. Everywhere you looked in all directions were treasures of every color and combination wood, metals, paint, linen. Creations of artisans through the ages. All glowing in the sunshine. It really was spectacular. Shortly thereafter we were greeted by a wonderful young man with a bright smile and glowing personality. He offered a cup of coffee or glass of wine and gave us a quick rundown of what they represented and what we could expect to see as we browsed the pathways through the treasures. As I strolled the floor with my coffee in hand I was enthralled. Everywhere I looked was a treasure. Beautiful linens. Exquisite furniture with amazing inlays. Fabulous Asian screens. Sculptures. Pottery and ceramic vases. Furniture to die for. It was amazing. First I wanted to buy it all and take it home. Then I decided I just wanted to move in and stay there. About half way through wonderland we came upon a lovely lady by the name of Margaret. She was kind and attentive and very accommodating. As well as a wealth of knowledge. We stood and talked for the longest time. She seemed to know something about everything. She informed me if we wanted to visit at a time other than their regular hours, just call and one of the proprietors would arrange to meet us, with the coffee brewing, at a time of our convenience. I was also informed by another lady that they make the space available for a private event or soiree... how sheik. Well I think I've rambled long enough. Hopefully you get the picture. I loved this place. You will as well. So go. Get your own impression. It's way too cool.
