Recognizable from the US-24 highway nearby, I found it easy to enter at the traffic light out front and follow the short side road to their entrance in the back. Space is limited, though, and therefore overnight parking is not offered. Two or three diesel lanes are available, and inside the store, they offer most anything one would expect in a convenience store, as well as items to support truckers. Open 24/7, it is worth a visit if you are traveling in the area.

The good: it's clean, brand new, good selection of beer, great selection of beer singles, and a large selection of the typical convenience store snacks. Seven different slushy machines, fountain drinks, and three coffee machines with three selections of beans in each. The coffee area also has quite a few different creamer options. Advertised as the "Best Chicken in Ohio" and it has a decent menu for food at the in-store to-go food area. It's well lit, and in a very safe/convenient location. The bad: they definitely have some growing pains. I stopped in the day after and two days after their opening. Around 6:30pm, there were 11 customers in line to order chicken or other items on their menu. I ordered the Family Feast consisting of 9 tenders, 2 large sides, and 4 dinner rolls. They were out of "jojos" (their version of larger steak fries) and only had mac & cheese and mashed potatoes as sides. I had to ask for gravy to be added rather than being asked, and I wasn't offered any dipping sauces. They also do not have all of the items that they advertise on their menu, website, or app such as pizzas to order (only pepperoni and cheese slices when I was there), no breakfast pizza, and no roller items. Hopefully it's just because they've not received everything yet. I also wish there were a kiosk to place a food order rather than walking up and just guessing that you talk to the kitchen staff to ask for food. For the chicken - the chicken tenders aren't bad, and I'm glad to have a place nearby to grab some quick dinner if needed. I definitely wouldn't consider them the "best in Ohio" by a long shot, but I'll give the tenders and bone-in chicken in another month or so. This store would really benefit from staying open past 10pm as the kitchen would still be in demand - especially Thursday through Saturday. I'm also unsure of the time the kitchen closes. There are no hours listed anywhere on the building, doors, or inside. I'm also unsure if you can still pump any gas after 10pm. I'll update this review in a month or two after they've had time to implement some fixes and get their processes well formed.

See Uncle Ralph would go on benders and my aunt would kick him out of the house on account of all the empty beer cans and broken toilets (dont ask, trust me!) Ralph left in his drunken stupor. When Ralph fell off the wagon he always found his way to our house. My Mom just couldn't turn away her little (drunken!) brother when he was in trouble. Anyways like I was saying we thought oh great Uncle Ralph is gonna be crashing here again when our parents said we had to have a family meeting. But it turns out it wasn't that at all. We were going to sell our house and buy a bigger one! Oh boy was this big news. We moved to our new house just a few short months later. The best thing about this new house? VERY close to a Meijer store with a gas station. There's just something about Meijer that really puts a grin on my face. Once I got my drivers license I knew where I was gonna go first. The Meijer gas station baby! It was so cool pulling up to the gas pump and pumping gas. This was way back in 1999, so gas was around a dollar a gallon. Pretty good, right? Well guess what happened one day. I was watching the 5 O'clock news on WHIO-TV (Channel 7 Dayton OH) when Cheryl McHenry announced that krogers was going to build a new store with a gas station, and it was going right next to MY favorite Meijer gas station. Boy was I steamed. Who the heck cares about krogers when there is a Meijer already there? Fast forward about a year and I'm driving a sweet Pontiac 6000LE! Saved up a few pesos (j/k, they were dollars!) from my summer job as a custodian at an elementary school and bought that bad boy. The krogers gas station was having their stupid grand opening and I decided to go to Meijer and show krogers who owns the corner of Brandt and Harshman. Guys you'll never believe what was happening. They were having a price war on gas, with gas prices at 25 cents a gallon! Oh boy. The lines for both were super long, people just love a bargain! By the time I got to the gas pump the price was 13 cents a gallon! Best smelling gas I ever bought too! Anyways fast forward to 2021 and I find myself traveling up I75 and needing to get gas and take a little potty break. I pulled off the highway in Bowling Green OH and guess what I saw? A Meijer gas station! So we went there and bought gas and tinkled. The gas was more expensive, but it had the EXACT same scent of the gas on that day in 1999. Talk about a stroll down memory lane!

Fuel prices were in line with other truck stops in the area. A medium sized convenience store with some trucker related items, there is always hot coffee and some hot food available. A Subway restaurant shares inside space, allowing for fresh sandwiches and a few booths to sit and eat. They also have showers available.
