This place is seriously SO COOL! We visited for the first time and had an absolute blast. There is…read moreso much to explore, and it's incredibly well set up for little kids. Our guy is 20 months old and had the best time running around and discovering everything. He especially loved the little make-believe town and playing with all the different interactive elements but the water tables were the clear favorite! He could've stayed there forever. Such a fun, engaging experience for kids and parents alike. We can't wait to go back and explore even more next time! PS they supply aprons and water boots in the water table room! Super convenient. I suggest bringing a change of clothes or some PJS to change your little one into in case they get soaked!

My husband and…read moredaughter have been to the museum during spring break and loved it but before but today this was my first time bringing my daughter. Within 5 minutes I was ready to go home! The amount of unruly older aged kids running amok pushing and shoving younger kids to play hide & seek was absolutely obnoxious!!! Throwing legos and plastic balls throughout the museum without anyone stopping them parents or staff was totally uncalled for and now I know why barely anything works here. I'm thankful I didn't pay admission fees because I would be sorely disappointed in tear my money paid for. The reviews and photos online make this place out to be so much better than our experience today. The Children's museum downtown is, not only cleaner, it's more taken care of & supervised by staff way better than this museum. It's like adults dropped off their middle school kids and left them unsupervised.

I read up on military stories. And sometimes, I was lucky enough to meet a veteran that would share their stories. Hill Aerospace had all of that. Since my wife does the planning, I didn't think much of our visit until we pulled up and those large decommissioned military planes sitting outside in all of its glory brought me back to when I was 10 years old. But the magic continues after you walk in. Within three large hangers housed of some of the most historically iconic planes on display. Add a small platoon of veterans, many of which had personally flown some of these pieces, the stories were endless and I had the honor of speaking with a number of these veterans and listen to their stories. It was an amazing time and I could have spent the whole day there. I don't say this often, but Hill Aerospace is almost a destination museum. It was such a great experience and those veterans made it that much more special.

It's a great mix of indoor and outdoor exhibits, and you can get really close to the aircraft, which makes the experience feel very real and tactile, especially for kids. The museum is clean, spacious, and well organized. Staff and volunteers are knowledgeable and genuinely excited to share stories and history -- you can feel their passion. Also, free admission (with optional donation), which is amazing considering how much there is to see. Perfect place to spend a few hours learning, exploring, or just staring up at some truly impressive engineering. Great stop for families, aviation lovers, or anyone looking for something inspiring and different to do. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our time exploring the museum and the hands on activities available. Something we found interesting was that on a Saturday morning it was pretty empty, it definitely started to pick up around early afternoon. Also a bit of a warning, there is no free or validated parking on site. We ended up parking in a public lot nearby and paying a fee.

I'm talking dressed-up crowd, glitter everywhere, real champagne, and the kind of DJ who knew exactly when to drop Beyoncé, ABBA, and a surprise 2000s throwback that had all of us losing our minds. I came in thinking I might just sip something bubbly and leave before midnight. Instead, I danced for four hours straight, made new friends, and now have a very blurry selfie that might become a family heirloom. The setting was gorgeous, by the way. Big open spaces, cool lighting, and just enough art and architecture to make you feel elevated while also clutching your clutch and screaming the lyrics to "Mr. Brightside." The vibe was party, but in a classy way. Like you could go full glam and not feel out of place, but also not feel judged if you kicked your heels off before midnight and went rogue on the dance floor. Which I did. No regrets. Would I go again? Already planning my outfit. 10 out of 10, would ring in the new year under a disco ball surrounded by Salt Lake's most unhinged and best-dressed again.

When we left, the parking lot was overflowing and cars circling around trying to find a parking space. Still, with the influx of larger crowds to parking lot capacity, it didn't feel crowded inside. This is a wonderful place to visit. A wonderful place to bring family and friends..There are animals and species that I've never seen anywhere else, and I've been to the Tucson Sonoran Desert Museum, the San Diego Safari Park, Sea World, Scripps Oceanography, and various zoos. This was a treat. And almost all were active and were seen. Such variety. There is no wasted space in this museum. Walls are adorned, such as a long wall with the ascending walkway going to the penguin exhibit made to look like a South Pole research center. Even every access door for employees are adorned. See my photos. Nice vegetation areas in otherwise unused space. They put a nice climbing gym in what would have been an unused corner, great for parents who need a break and kids to dissipate energy. There are thoughtful benches placed here and there for a sit down rest. There is a very nice small cafe and snack bar to get a yummy huge pretzel, or hamburger and other sandwiches and salads. Looking at the prices, they are very reasonable for a museum/theme park. You are getting a great value for the buck. Whether you are buying for just the day or a membership, I think that you are getting your money's worth. We spent four hours there and didn't see everything, read everything, tried everything. The four hours went by fast. This is a very popular place for good reason--a jewel in the valley. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!
