The ypung lady gave me paperwork to fill out for my mother-in-law. By the time we were called I managed to get the new patient forms filled out. The reason behind my visit is that my mother-in-law has dementia and has advanced. She has been having hallucinations being combative which was taking it's toll on me and her ultimately her care. Also she had lost weight refusing to eat everything I give her. That became scary. Her refusing to go to bed which meant I don't sleep. Her getting up all hours of the nigjt. The medication that was given helped out a little bit. She was still having abnormal behavior. The good thing was she was actually eating now. After her dropping 7 pounds was so concerning. She has not lost nor gained which is good and stable. I could not wait till her 2nd appointment to see if thier was something else to try or is that it. 2nd appointment I walked in with my notes in hand. Asking questions and explaining my concerns for my mother-in-law. The psychiatrist gave her a higher dosage. Slowly but surly things have improved. She has been eating well, behavior has changed a great deal. She still talks to herself. All I can say is that this disease is horrible and I'd be lost without any help. These doctor's are great and I'm so thankful. Also they have activities here for those that would like to join in the fun with games and other activities.

It's been 4 days since the appointment, and my prescription still has not been sent to the pharmacy. I called the office multiple times a day for 3 days, until they told me to just go in person to pick up a physical script, which I did. When I arrived at the pharmacy, I was told they could not fill it because what the office gave me was literally a photocopy of a prescription for a controlled medication. They wasted my time AND money due to negligence on their part. As of right now, the script still has not been sent. I've called twice today. Yesterday, they said it would be fixed and filled today because I had to yell at two different people on the phone to finally be listened to and for something to be finally done about it. It really is pure negligence. Who gives a photocopy of a prescription for a controlled medication and expects the pharmacy to fill it? Once I get this filled, I will be seeking care elsewhere. Do NOT waste your time coming here if you need any type of specialized care in any way, shape, or form. They will not take you seriously and they will make your life as hard as possible because their doctors are lazy and don't want to do their jobs. I've genuinely never had issues like this with any clinic or doctor, and my whole experience here has been an absolute nightmare.

Last year I was diagnosed with high blood pressure and she put me on an ACE inhibitor. It helped lower my blood pressure, but I developed a cough not long after. I looked up the side effects and noticed that cough could be one of them. I brought this up to Dr Mikhail and she said that since it lowered my blood pressure, I should stay on it and prescribed me allergy medicine. The cough continued for months. When I would bring it up again she prescribed me more allergy medicine and told me it couldn't have been the ACE inhibitor since I said that I coughed more at night. The cough got worse earlier this year and I repeatedly told her the allergy medicine wasn't helping but she kept prescribing more of it and dismissed me. After months of little sleep from coughing all night, getting the side-eye from people hearing me hacking in public, having my throat raw with pain and a general decrease in quality of life, I got fed up and made an appointment with a pulmonologist. He diagnosed me with bronchitis, switched me from the ACE inhibitor to Amlodipine, and gave me an inhaler and nose spray. Within a week the cough was gone. It's annoying that Dr Mikhail misdiagnosed me, but what infuriated me the most was her gaslighting me and ignoring my complaints for MONTHS. I really wanted to like her but I'm never going to her office again.

I encourage anyone who has doubts about the care received from this monster to file a complaint with the State Medical Board. Dr. Adegbenga is unethical. When my mother was admitted to Gardena Memorial Hospital on April 25, 2014, the emergency doctor advised us there was nothing that could be done for my mother because her kidneys where failing and her heart was too damaged to help her. Dr. Adegbenga, is a nephrologist and told us my mother would be a candidate for hemodyalisis. It is my opinion he knew very well that she would not survive but gave us false hope to perform an unnecessary procedure on a 89 year old woman. Since he is a kidney specialist I made the mistake of trusting him. He performed hemodyalisis on a dying woman. My mother passed away on April 28th. STAY AWAY FROM THIS MAN.
