I hear the physical therapy here at the Eau Claire location is the best. I hear many success stories. They also offer Pilates training, which is what I came for.
The regular "experienced" trainer's client roster was full so I was scheduled with a new trainer who was barely out of school, with little experience, and only available 3 consecutive days per week. I was hoping for 3 days per week with at least a day between sessions....M W F.
I called to inquire about getting on a wait list for the more experienced trainer but wondered if they worked more days of the week. The front desk person told me that that trainer's client list was full. I said I realized that but was just wanting to know the details, previously stated, for the eventuality that there was an opening. I restated the question, downgrading my word choice to a more elementary level, and I got the same answer, "client list full". I started to get frustrated. I reiterated that I understood. I then restated the question, for the 3rd time, downgrading my word choice even further, and the person on the phone gave me the same answer again. Now I was completely frustrated and aggravated and I just grunted and hung up the phone.
I immediately started looking for a different business to find Pilates training. Several days later I got a email from Optimum stating that due to changes in their business they could no longer offer me training. It seems like the person on the phone may have complained to the owners about the way I ended the conversation. I laughed to myself and wrote back that I was already looking for a better fit. It seems like the universe agreed by stepping in and saving me from more aggravation with this particular part of the company.
I can't comment on the more experienced Pilates trainer's qualities of except to say that I hear they are very good. Just don't expect to have a very clear communication with the front desk person who answered the phone when I called. read more
