Extremely Unprofessional - Would Not Recommend This company took my order over a week in advance, then canceled my appointment the day of service while I was already driving from California to Lake Havasu -- a trip I scheduled specifically around this appointment. If the property age was an issue, that should have been reviewed before taking my order, not the day of. When I called after receiving the cancellation text, I was told there was "no appointment," which only added to the frustration. This was my first impression of the company, and it was enough to ensure I will never do business with them. I immediately switched to Allo and received professional, reliable service. I was also told by locals that this company previously monopolized the area and developed a reputation for poor service -- which explains why so many people switched once Allo came to town. My advice: improve your customer service and internal processes. Canceling last-minute after customers rearrange their schedules and travel is unacceptable. read more

If i could give no star that would be the truth. 20 min. to get to a live person that English is a 2nd language. Then transfer all over the 3rd world to get a simple answer. Store front people don't care if there is a storefront near you. Just a horrible business model with horrible internet. Switch to Allo fiber, yes more in the long run but you get better service in the USA. read more

Optimum is a piece of shit service. Outages happen any time, they never have an answer as to why the service goes down. This company functions like a Mickey mouse company. I have had many other companies in different states, and this is the worst of the worst. I don't think they are truly a Internet company they are a broken company that disappoint a lot of customers daily. Technician window was 2-5pm. Someone called from the company at 5:07 saying that the tech got held up at another job and was on his way. Not very customer service forward business. They clearly would have known before 5:07 that the tech was running late. No regard for my personal time. Tech arrived at 5:30pm, we spoke about the tardiness, he said "yeah I had a few other calls that took a while" Which is pretty dismissive, a simple "I apologize for any inconvenience that we may have caused" would have sufficed. Inside customer service was great. ***problem 3 service techs came to the home and 2 wireman trucks. 3 different home calls to solve my internet issues. They cannot provide or SOLVE the issue. My bill still comes and have to pay it. The last 2 weeks have once again been issue and starts with 6-7am dropping internet. Reset modem, wait for it to reset or connect when it wants. More than 10 times a day while home. They lied to me about my bill as to haste of not providing me service I pay for. It was 28$ more then they cut off my tv programs. To get the same tv which is the lowest. Not top tier either. No one can fix the issue and is unacceptable. When you call they do everything to not help with my situation. Every phone call has been over an hour. Last chance today with a tech to come out. Maybe it works other places , not internet fail once every hour. read more

The worst company to deal with. Most of there infrastructure is archaic and leftover from Suddenlink. They advertised 1g but the most I ever got was 30mb. Very intermittent and buggy. Go with Allo fiber. Lightning fast and reliable. read more

I will say I was very skeptical about going with optimum because people all around town told me about how horrible it is. I think what is horrible about optimum is the call centers that are not local. I had nine calls from optimum trying to fix my problem I told each agent that the problem was that the cable in my house was not hooked up. So I booked an appointment with Allo internet. I was just going to cancel my service after the first month. Then my appointment day and Nick called me. Nick called to tell me his approximate ETA and ask me a few questions. Nick and I had a brief conversation and he arrived 15 minutes later. Nick is a very happy dedicated person. He was very good at explaining everything that was going on and was very polite. Nick made sure that cable colors were matching up and that we were using the best cabling. Meanwhile Nick was explaining the whole system and letting me know about system updates and things like that, so I knew not to worry if the system was doing an update. I told Nick about my experience at the DMV and told him I wasn't sure how long I would be with optimum. Nick explained a lot of things and afterwards I felt very comfortable with optimum. I ran my own speed test and Nick ran a speed test as well and I was getting over the 500 MB per second. So I will be canceling my appointment with Allo and giving optimum the chance they deserve. The management team at optimum should treat Nick very well. He has saved the day at least once. It may not look like much but Nick had to fix test and fix the cabling outside and also inside from some stuff the previous renters did. This was a great experience overall and hopefully optimum will live up to the Hype Nick gave it. All the people complaining down here don't seem to be from lake Havasu and should be right in their reviews in their proper cities. I have had no issues whatsoever I think since I come from California I can say this. I think some of these folks moved to a small town after being in a big town and they are not happy with the slower more sustainable life. My internet service is working great I will leave an update if that changes. read more

If I can give this company, mine is 100 star that's what I would do. It took them 20 minutes to verify my identity before answering a very simple question and when I called the next day regarding my appointment which it was between 2 to 5 PM to find out how far was the driver they told me to go online and check where the driver is obviously I don't have Internet because their Internet went out. The internet service through Optimum, which used to be Suddenlink, is horrible. We got a brand new modem and had technicians at our home and the internet continues to go out intermittently throughout the day every single day. There aren't a lot of options here, but Allo fiber is taking over and we are hoping it will be better. Waiting for their service to get to us. Stay away from this company. This is the worse customer service on the planet. I disconnected my service and mailed the equipment back via Fed Ex using their mailing label. They finally acknowledged receipt of the equipment, but said one of the two items that was in the box, was not returned. I called and told them the equipment was all together and to relook, as I did not want the $130 that was the balance still showing on my account. They said they would cancel the auto pay, not to worry, so that would not happen while they investigated the missing equipment. Finally, I received an email stating the equipment was received and they would credit my account the outstanding balance. The email was dated 4/15. They took the $130 out of my account anyway on 4/17. When I called AGAIN, they said they will refund it and it will take up to 10 working days. This is absolutely ridiculous. Based on their past track record, I'm sure I'll be calling back looking for my refund. In the 3 months I had the service, I probably called at least 10 times trying to fix billing problems. We were so happy when Allo gave us an option and made the switch today. I called Optimum to cancel our service and finally accomplished that TWO AND A HALF HOURS LATER. I been having TV problems on one my TVs, so went to the store sat there for 3 hours. On lady in the back was working and a couple of other employees were wasting time job sharing. It got so bad an old man told them to F Off I understood. No bathroom offered or anything. My number was called because a lot of the people in front of me left. I was there for maybe 15 minutes tops switching my box hoping I could fix the problem. Nope didn't work called India for tech wasn't able to understand the lady tried my best no luck. Called back told them I not pushing any more buttons or rebooting my box and that I needed a real technician to come out. Nick showed up was awesome tried to reboot my box grabbed another from his truck and finally after a few hours of apologizing to me got it figured out. They raised my television bill and I tried to get it back down and they came up with this crazy scam to open up a mobile number on my Verizon phone. I tried to get out of it and all you get to talk to is people over seas that do not care about you and won't take care of the problem. I've been trying to get this resolved for three months and no one from Optimum will help me. I even went to the store to get help and she told me they can't help anymore gave me to numbers I could call a 6:00 Arizona time to be able to talk to someone in New York a I got a man from over seas. It has been over 8 months, we have tried numerous times to reach someone to get this reimbursement as it was never received. They claim they sent the card, but it was never received. The WORST most DECEITFUL cable/internet company I have EVER encountered. Suddenlink was our service in LHC and it was great, very accommodating. Optimum bought them and not only did the service drop to horrible, the pricing packages more than doubled. I have spent hours on the phone with them, trying to reduce my almost $300 a month bill. The 1st time. I was able to finally get them to reduce my $279 bill to $125 (core cable which sucks and internet). They quoted this for 6 months. 1 month billing cycle happened, then the next month was $279. I called again and spent almost 2 hours on the phone. Told them I wanted to cancel cable all together and just go with internet. He kept trying to upsell me for an hour. I demanded he stop and give me lowest internet. $75. Good for a year. 1 month billing cycle good. 2nd month back to $279. This company is TERRIBLE. THEY LIE. THEY DEFRAUD. THEY SUCK. GO WITH ANYONE ELSE. I AM REPORTING THEM TO BBB. Highly suggest to anyone in the Parker Arizona area to find a different carrier even if you have to go satellite meaning direct or dish cuz you will have nothing but a true complete nightmare they have employees that don't even know their job I connected with these guys in March the day after they came and installed they sent out a crew too young guys who showed up to my door to ask me why and what they were coming to my house to do I inform them they should know they have to have the paperwork otherwise they need to call the office to find out they went and sat down My daughter came by her and I went out side and we noticed that the young men were setting down and had been sitting down on the corner of my apartment complex for about an hour they spotted us and I looked at him and said really so they got up and they went to the other side of the building 30 minutes later they come and tell me that the issue has been solved well that's not true because from that point on it has been nothing but a nightmare Wi-Fi goes out up to six times per day and I have a landline connected so when the Wi-Fi goes out and I'm in the middle of an important conversation I lose the person I'm speaking to All I can say is they need to bring Suddenlink back cuz suddenlink was bad enough but at least was suddenlink it wasn't this bad and their technicians knew what they were doing unlike the technicians now that work for this company read more
