I have had an exceptional experience during my 3 months at Seriously Strong in St. Petersburg!…read more For context, I've worked with personal trainers on & off over 20 years in Atlanta, Chicago and St Pete. I know the difference between 'good', 'average' and 'bad' when it comes to PT's. I'm a Male in my early 60's who is focused on Power Lifting training and wants someone to have an eagle eye in form/technique to mitigate risk of injury and to optimize my time in the gym. In my eyes, 'good' starts with a PT who is prepared (the plan is set before I arrive for the session, not 'made up on the fly'), a PT who engaged throughout the session, monitoring technique/ensuring good form to mitigate injury risk and who is personable/fun to work with while not being afraid to push me to heights/challenges I likely wouldn't take on by myself. Andrew Cao, the Director of the St Pete location, is a very good leader and sets the tone for the high levels of professionalism that each of the trainers exhibit as I watch them work with their clients. My trainer, Joe Cameron, has been exceptional to work with & is beyond 'good' as outlined above. - The gym is never 'packed' (5 clients at one time is max I've seen during my 3 months and it's busy w/out being claustrophobic). - You are greeted warmly, by name, by all upon arrival, - the facility has all the major equipment you need - the 'Trainerize' app they use is the best I've encountered in my fitness journey and is comprehensive re: exercise (w/videos available for every movement), food, water & steps tracking all-in-one. - the place is as clean as a whistle with towels provided along with home brewed Nitro Coffee. I can't say enough good things about Seriously Strong and urge you to connect with Andrew for an introductory session!

She has helped me see great results through gaining strength, keeping myself accountable, staying encouraged, and making adjustments as needed. I don't even have back pain anymore. I was honestly nervous to be in a gym setting while pregnant but the entire SST team has been incredibly warm and welcoming that I really look forward to being there. They've even cultivated such a closeness among clients that I've enjoyed talking with others before or after workouts in their community space. Highly recommend if you're looking for a personal trainer that Alex or anyone on their team would be great to work with!

We had the best time at the game. Yes, the stadium is dated. We entered and had to ask three people…read morehow to find the home plate club. Once we were in- we were set! They have a whole dessert room! Crumbl cookies in boxes ready to grab, macarons, candy in jars, candy bars, cupcakes etc. They have a bar with an amazing cocktail menu- and it's all included. I had so many of their craft cocktails, which come in collectible tumblers that you can keep! They ran out of one of the styles towards the end of the game so if you're trying to kart a set- order quick and early. There was rarely any line at the bar. Those two bartenders kept it moving. Our seat attendant even brought me a Winn Dixie bag at the end of the game so I could take my souvenir glasses home. We had dinner in the lounge. They had everything from San Cocho to Sushi to bbq ribs. I even had a slice of pizza and a small Cuban, chicken wings, a soft pretzel and so much more. They had more cookies and pastries in their dessert buffet but we were too stuffed. They have a bar up there as well. Everything was included with our ticket. We sat behind home plate in the 6th row. It was nice having an attendant at our seats. Of course they work for tips but you never miss a second of the game when she's hustling to bring you another cocktail or some popcorn etc. I'm pretty simple- my favorite parts of the game are popcorn, hot dog, soft pretzel and being able to see close calls like pitches or the first base line outs. This experience was definitely exceeding my expectation. I hear they're getting a new stadium. That would certainly upgrade its appearance. But once you're inside, you really forget that this place is so ugly on the outside. It was a great game. Tampa bay won. We had a ton of food and drinks and the staff were so helpful and friendly. We will be back!
