Storage has always been a lingering problem in our family. Just like most of the newly built homes in the central valley, our home came with a small 2-car garage. So I started looking for garage remodeling companies that can be a perfect fit for our growing family's needs. Being responsive thru text, calls, and e-mails is important to me, and Optimal Garage Solutions delivered as soon as I sent an inquiry e-mail. I also appreciate when a company spends money on social media ads. This 3-month process started with them taking measurements and brainstorming ideas for the design. Chris, the sales manager, and I went back and forth via email, text, and calls until we came up with the final design. After I paid my 50% downpayment, the waiting game began. The supply chain, just like the rest of the world, is plagued with delays. When the supplies finally arrived, it took them 2 days to finish the epoxy flooring due to the cold weather and another 2 days to put all the cabinets, slat walls, monkey bars, and overhead ceiling racks. Just be proactive in asking for instructions and guidelines on what not to do while waiting for the epoxy flooring to completely dry. I'll let the photos speak for themselves. This is some topnotch shit and I recommend them to anybody in the valley. read more

My garage turned out great and I like their products. I was told that there is a lifetime warranty on flooring and cabinets when I purchased them. It's been very difficult to get a response for some repairs that need to be done. I believe ownership changed and so did the phone number. read more

I put a down payment in June 2023 of a 6week process promised. this is my JANUARY 2024 a follow up report to my experience of mark. Extremely disorganized, arrogant and oddly condescending to people who have given him money and have questions. I have no invoice or final receipt yet. he spent months rambling with Lies and nonsense which I have on text. He finally had someone install them. the Walls were completely ripped apart and I was told I need to paint over and then one of the closets were flipped. BACKWARDS LAYOUT TO MY DESIGN. After asking both installer and Mark, they said they thought it was better arraignment. Mark asked me -well why do you want to change it? My installers thought they were helping you. I really can't make this up. Then they installed 2 completely different colored rods. the small room cannot fit the furniture in the arraignment. Finally- mark said we really need a day to get this settled and my payment made after they messed all of this up. I paid him to get rid of him. Otherwise I would have definitely gone to court with this. i paid for peace to be rid of him but he shouldn't be allowed to do this. Horrible experience. read more

Mark is extremely unprofessional and I regret doing any business with him. For the last 5 months, Mark has been intentionally avoiding me- detailed below. 1) Initially, I was told if I paid up front I would get my cabinets installed end of April, however, I got them end of August- 4 months later. 2) I had paid up front. They installed the wrong color handles and also owed me refund of $1000+ because I had to switch to cheaper color/material of cabinets because the ones I originally ordered went out of. It has been nearly 5 months that I have been texting and calling him to get this resolved, and he has intentionally avoided me. 3) His unprofessional customer service caused numerous negative reviews on Google & Yelp. This makes me believe it is one of the reasons he changed his company name recently on Google (previously called "Optimal Garage Solutions"). Therefore, new possible customers are unable to see those horrible reviews in which he does not respond back or pay people back. read more

Mark was a great guy who walked me thru the entire process. The plans and drawings were received within 24 hours.

First, let's get the bad out of the way. Delay in getting the install done due to COVID-19 supply restrictions. Took a few weeks, but not a big deal. Mark Galaviz came and spent a lot of time in our garage talking to us, designing something that would work perfectly for us, walking us through the options in the catalog, keeping us in the loop. The 3-D computer pdf views were great. One piece of advice: spend more money and get the better cabinets, with the enclosed back (not using your garage wall) and the slick look on the outside. As long as you're spending a lot of money, make it look great and don't go cheap. The crew was professional, fast but not sloppy, very effective at talking to me about how to make Mark's design work in the space we had, they cleaned up after themselves and the work was everything my wife hoped it would be and more. Exceeding expectations in all regards. Took less than a full day. Our "monkey bars" set up was delayed a couple more weeks, but that took only a couple hours and the end result is a garage that is a delight to walk into and it holds SO MUCH! There is space if I want to put a work bench back in (they do have those options, too) later, and the balance of price to quality (this is not cheap) was FAIR. Highly recommended. We didn't get the concrete epoxy treatment on the floor, probably should have. LOOK at his pictures of previous work for ideas on how you want it to look. He has a lot of examples of the work they do in Hanford, Bakersfield and other cities. read more

Beware using this company!!! My husband and I had them come out to re-do our closets. They were quick to respond with measurements and setting up a zoom call to go over details. Once the contract was signed and deposit was made they told us it would be 6-8 weeks. We are going on 14 weeeks now with numerous emails and phone calls with no response!!
