One car eventually died, but the other one is still going strong. I also take my car here to be serviced and for the MOT. This place is busy, so it's not always possible to drop by and get the work done there and then - even if it's a minor job. Having said that, if you pop in or call you can normally arrange a time for either later that day, or at worst for later that week. I recommend this place if you need an old car looked after.

They cleared down the fault, and ask me to montior any changes whilst driving. I asked how much this would be for doing the diagnostics, and they nothing. On an obviously very busy Friday afternoon. I was informed that it may take until the next Wednesday before the car could be assessed. By the next Wednesday, the car had been assessed (I suspect an engineer stayed late for this), the sizable part had been ordered, received and fitted. I'd been using the car as a mobile skip as attics, sheds and gardens needed to be cleared out prior to moving house, so the vehicle was in bit of a state. Some moss was growing in places. I highly recommend Central Garages, the staff went above and beyond assessing and completing an unexpected job added to a full schedule. Many thank to Central Garages, Lichfield.
