I've been going here for years. The staff change a fair bit, and you may never get the same optometrist twice, but they're usually pretty good.
I'd give them five stars but for one bad experience a couple years ago. My glasses just weren't right. I took them back, they put new lenses in, still not right. I kept going back, and the girl at the counter said she'd email their lens specialist and give me a call. Well, they never did call. Not until I put a complaint in via the OPSM website, then I got a call from the manager. She explained the girl had emailed the specialist, but they were leaving the job, so didn't bother replying. The girl claimed she had called, but there were no missed calls on my phone.
Anyhow. Manager asked me to come in and see her, and she explained that the glasses I had bought (despite being assured they were fine for prescription lenses) were too curved for prescription lenses, and that's why they weren't right for me, but they would replace the frames, and if the new ones cost more (which they did) I would not be charged any extra.
So in the end it all worked out, and I have continued to return and have had no trouble since. I must admit, once I contacted head office they really stepped up the service, but I have to think that I should never have had to do that in the first place. read more
