Like any other Oporto, you know what you get when you order here. Always pretty quiet which is nice. Also in terms of what is close by its is Oporto or KFC so not to much else in terms of fast food around. read more

We all have that favourite kebab shop that we swear has the best kebabs in all of Sydney. Well, I'm…read moresorry, but unless your favourite kebab shop is also Brothers Kebabs on Princes Highway, you are sadly mistaken. Playing homage to their Turkish origin the Brothers boys ensure all their kebabs are of genuine Turkish quality with only the best meats on offer including beef, lamb and chicken to mix and match with the fillings of your own choice - including tabouli, lettuce, onion, cheese, tomato and more - to create the ultimate kebab to suit your tastebuds. Prices are average starting from $8.50 for a kebab and extra for special fillings, which may seem steep but at the end of the day, how can you put a price on absolute satisfaction? And for just an extra $3.50 make sure you order hot chips as a side, their slightly lemony flavoured chicken-salted chips are a definite must. But to make things even better, the kebab shop is open til late for all those party goers looking for a late night feed after a big night out. They say alcohol makes your food taste better, but in this case, trust me, it doesn't need it.

Later on Ilker brings out one of those hoverboard things and spins around the store on it. Why can't all food be this fun? There are 22 burgers on the menu, including one called The Herbert. I can barely count to 22. You know what's important in a good burger? Balance. You can have all kinds of crazy stuff and one giant patty and whatever, but for mine everything needs to be in proportion and work together, and the cunningly named Single Decker did just that - juicy thin patty, cheese, pickles, mustard, sauce and bun that all meld into a hand grenade of deliciousness. Just pull the pin and throw it at your face. Can't wait to try more. Full disclosure: a colleague bought this burger for me. Oh, and the results of the man vs food challenge? Close, but no cigar: 2.5 cheese-slathered patties left on the table.

There usually one or two chicken options, and one or two vegetarian options, but this place had so much to choose from, I couldn't decide and had to ask the friendly owners which they recommended. How could I go past a burger that specifically listed pickles as one of the ingredients. PICKLES!! The Herbert was incredibly, and luckily I went the healthy option of wholemeal bread! (Make that a diet coke, I'm watching my weight) Haven't you heard? It makes all the difference. The chips were addictive; damn that chicken salt. Add to it the amazing dip options and I was shoveling those in my mouth non-stop. There was pickle mayo, guys...PICKLE mayo! I will definitely be back to try some of the other chicken burgers and/or the lamb burgers and definitely the pickle mayo again. Maybe I can order a glass of pickle juice.

Airport Macca's only had takeaway on a Sunday morning …read more This McDonald's has a lot of customers compared to the KFC, also located in the international terminal. They had three kiosks with individual lines for each. I ordered the Big Brekkie Burger and 20 piece chicken nuggets. The chicken nuggets were crispy, hot, and tasted healthier than the States' McDonald's chicken nuggets. The batter was thin and light with none of that processed chicken texture. The nuggets made in Australia have it done right. The Big Brekkie Burger had a crispy hash brown sandwiched between two Aussie beef patties, ham, egg, cheese, and BBQ sauce. It was a filling breakfast before my flight home and hit the spot. Service was standard. They had plenty of seating near the window to watch planes take off and land. If you're in the mood for fast food at the airport, Macca's seems to be the popular choice.
