These services include things such as annual shots, nail trim, and spaying/neuturing. In my experience, it's better to go later on a weekday. If you go early or on Saturday, there is an extended wait time. Upon arrival, you check in at the front desk and receive a text of the waitlist. When it is close to your pet being called, another text is sent and you have 30 minutes to get back to Emancipet. All of the workers are very nice and handle your pets with care. They are very knowledgeable and gentle. I have a chihuahua that has to be muzzled because of his anxiety and they always seem to calm him before servicing him. I highly recommend Emancipet if you don't mind waiting.

Around November 7th, 2022. I contacted the Red Cross after my father died. I was requesting help…read moregetting my nephew, sent home for the funeral. I was overwhelmed by the kindness and concern that was given. They immediately contacted my nephews, commanding officer, and made sure he could get the time off of work. I received an email the next morning, telling me that they had contacted his commanding officer. They contacted me by telephone after to make sure that he, had sufficient funds for his air line ticket, and if he needed help getting a ride to the airport. I received a call and email asking if everything was taken care of and if there was anything else that they could do to assist us. During this time I'm sorry I didn't write and say how wonderful they were. Today I received a questionnaire, asking me how they did. I n thinking about this I realized they really deserved a big shout out. So if you're thinking about donating to an organization, I would recommend the Red Cross wholeheartedly. This is a change in my mindset due to my families dislike of the Red Cross over the years for something that happened I believe in World War II! Or Korean conflict! Computers for soldiers' use, a small movie theater, a separate kids room to watch movies, read books, and play! A VR room, although I haven't seen anyone use it yet, rather I've been lucky enough to use it for a quiet space to work. Several rooms to play pool and ping pong. A small workout room that is typically empty, but probably only good for 1-2 people at a time. I haven't gone in all of the rooms to see what else there is! Better yet, they offer several free events to build community and connect with others, and also serve free lunch daily. The volunteer workers are always so welcoming and delightful throughout as well.

Our family has supported this wonderful ministry for many years, and it is amazing the way they use…read morethe donations to make a huge difference in so many lives. They started out providing food for the needy, and now have clothing and some household provisions, as well as a wonderful medical clinic, and most recently a dental clinic. These Body of Christ Community Clinics are really impacting the health and wellbeing of the community. Helping Hands Ministry is working to teach and guide the families they serve about budgeting, finances, good health habits, and other subjects to make their lives better and help them come out of poverty situations. They are showing the love of Christ in so many wonderful ways.
