I recently purchased a high end GE profile double oven stove from the appliance department in Liverpool Department store, Guadalajara. Before making the final decision to purchase this product I spoke with a gentlemen who identified himself as the manager of this department. One of the questions I asked him before finalizing my decision was how long would it take to have the stove installed. I was told "no longer than 48 hours, guaranteed " , he further clarified that the clock would start ticking from the time we called the GE technician with Mabe services, the company that Liverpool uses to deliver appliances. . He then said that he would call from the department store the day we picked the stove up. We had the stove picked up on November 1st . It is now Nov. 7th and Mabe services have not installed the stove. Multiple phone conversations have occurred between the supervisor at Liverpool and the supervisor with Mabe services. We have been given several different dates of delivery with vague appointment times, ie, "we can only tell you some time between 7 am and 7pm", and yet still no one no one has appeared on any of the dates. Additionally no one has ever called to say there was a need to reschedule. I have tried to find a phone # for Liverpool customer service but can not locate one on their website. I would never purchase a major appliance from Liverpool that requires installation . They did not keep their word. read more
