Parking is across the street but they have shuttle service that picks up and drops off if you don't want to walk. Concession stands are available, but snack offerings are limited. The lobby area is spacious and the art deco is beautiful. Staff were professional and friendly. The atmosphere was friendly and inviting. A day before the show a had not received my tickets despite the acquisition link repetitively stating that the tickets have been delivered (when no delivery had ever happened). Between the vendor and the Smith Center, I spent over 2 hours trying to get my tickets to no avail with both parties calling me to offer alternative tickets at a lower price. It seems that these two parties are unable to manage ticket sales effectively and I would discourage people from doing business with them due to my horrible experience.

Had a great evening at Vegas Theatre Company this evening seeing the production of, "That Show…read moreAbout The Hotdog". The performance was great with lots of witty humor, sexual innuendos, and jabs at America's politicians. Many laughs were had! The theatre itself is small and intimate, seating roughly 40 people. Seating is first come first serve, but honestly there was not a bad seat in the house. I found the chairs to be fairly comfortable, especially with the provided chair cushions and legroom that was ideal for tall persons. No outside beverages or food is allowed, but they do have a small concession stand with a few snack options and all sorts of alcoholic & nonalcoholic beverages available for purchase. My husband and I were impressed by some of the unique craft beers they offered, so we each tried one - the total for 2 craft beers being $17 after tip. The venue appears to open approximately 15 minutes before showtime and there are clean restrooms close by, down the hall. All staff members were extremely friendly and seemed genuinely happy with the support from us theatre goers. This is a great little theatre in the Arts District! I can't believe it took us so long to finally attend a show here, but I'm sure glad we finally came. We'll definitely be back... likely next month for their spooky Halloween play!

My review is for the springtime production of "Cabaret." It was my first time visiting Majestic…read moreRepertory Theater (MRT), and I must say that I am so happy to see that we have a cool independent performing arts venue in downtown Vegas! Located in the bustling Arts District, this place is an absolute gem in every sense of the word! Having just returned from a holiday trip to London where we splurged on $600 tickets and saw the new "Cabaret" revival on the West End, we were intrigued to see the same musical being performed locally right here in Las Vegas. We decided to buy the $50 VIP tickets to check it out. Now I know you guys won't believe me when I tell you this, but the MRT production was almost just as good as the West End production. Yes, I am serious. The MRT singers and dancers were terrific, and while the production values were charmingly low-budget, they did a lot with very, very little. I still cannot believe the bargain price of our tickets, as we were seated at a small table very close to the stage. I'm not sure how the seating is laid out for other productions, but the venue is so intimate that there isn't a bad seat in the house. It did look like the regular seating was a bit crammed thought, so I'd recommend paying extra for the VIP table if you're able. Parking was a bit of a pain since its the Arts District, but we managed. Make sure you pay for extra time when you park because the meter police WILL get you. I don't' know how they always seem to know, but we have had our fair share of parking tickets downtown, LOL. Again: make sure you overpay for parking! You have been warned! The theater is located near so many groovy bars and restaurants, so it's easy to make a night of it both pre-show and after-party. Go down early for dinner and drinks, then stay later for a couple of cocktails or beers at one of the stellar local bars next door. The theater also has a small concession cooler up front with pre-packaged drinks. The theater itself has a small snack bar (buy a soda or a surprisingly tasty canned wine or beer to at least to help 'em keep the doors open, we did) and a teeny lobby. We checked in with the cheerful, welcoming hostess and she directed us to our table. There's one very small bathroom in the venue, so go as soon as you arrive or you'll be waiting in a very long line to pee. They did not provide table service, we had to go get our own drinks and bring them back to our seat. The sound and lighting was very good during the production of "Cabaret," and we were just blown away by the talent and quality of the performers. The costumes and choreography were charmingly low budget, but it really added to the overall experience. The venue puts on all sorts of shows all year, and we can't wait to return. As two former theater kids and total pop culture nerds, my hubby and I are SOLD on this place. We will continue to support them in the future, and I can't wait to attend more events. We actually just went to their holiday original musical production, "The Blanche DeBris Emergency Xmas Broadcast" and just loved how fun and goofy it was! Be sure to sign up for their e-newsletters to get the latest scoop on upcoming shows and ticket discounts! We are so lucky to have a venue for independent theater here in Las Vegas, so please, PLEASE come see a show or two or three here! Let's keep the doors open. Let's hear it for the indie underground arts scene in Las Vegas: Woot Woot!!!

Once we were let in and our tickets checked, we grabbed a drink from their little bar. It had canned beers, we went with the water and some red vines. Because we had the VIP seats they showed us where to sit, which was basically on the stage lol We are a little more shy so we moved to the back corner table, and I'm very glad we did. We were near the locker setup and the actors were sitting at our table, interacting with us a bit, and acting right next to us for some scenes. I loved our seat options! Now, the show. Wow! I laughed so much, I enjoyed every song they performed, and it was so original for being an unauthorized parody. The cast was amazing, and from what I could tell, quite a few were also in the Scream parody. I 50000% would come back to see more shows. Looking at the site, they have diverse programming and many different types of shows that they put on. They were all so funny, so talented, and it feels more special to know these are people local to our city. There's some paid parking lots right behind the theater, so getting there isn't difficult at all, even for being downtown. Please support local theater and check this place out. You will absolutely not be disappointed!

I'll start off with the MJ show: What an entertainment for someone to imitate and sing the songs of Michael Jackson. The dancing along will make you get out of your seats and start dancing. What an entertainer and most of all, The talent. My favorite was the Song, Beat It. To all the dancers and the lighting and most of the dancing. Great Act! A must see if your in Vegas. All seats throughout this theater are good. Don't really need to spend over a $100 per person. The second evening was the Tribute to Cher, Adele, and Whitney Houston. My favorite was the singing by Cher. Each performer sang about 3 songs each, a total of 1 hour and 15 minutes for the entire show, also a very entertaining show! A must see. Shop around on the Vegas Strip, they offer good deals on the tickets, not only for this show, but for all events. Enjoy!!!!!!!

The musicians are talented and the vocals of all three Elvis impersonators were on point. You have to understand going into this, it's a tribute to Elvis, not a mascaraed, and let me tell you, the artists delivered. They worked the crowd, and made it fun. I should mention that my experience was on a Monday night so the crowd was on the smaller side, but the performers didn't hold back and gave a Saturday night performance. If you're a cynic and enjoy finding all the flaws this probably isn't for you, but if you're fun loving and light of heart you gotta watch this. Sure you can pay wads of cash to see present day pop artists parade on stage with a great big production of lights and noise, but that's not the full Las Vegas experience. The Legends Elvis tribute has all the glitz and just enough grit to remind you that the artists are real people who actually enjoy entertaining a crowd and they transport you back to Vegas of old days. Worth the money!

When you think of the word "Tenors" the first thing that comes to mind is opera. For these guys,…read moreyou are only partially right. Located inside the Shimmer Cabaret which is a part of the LVH Casino, I took my family and some friends to this show expecting nothing but opera songs. What we got was way more than pleasantly expected. From the very first minute these guys came on stage they were crooning out tunes from tv shows, songs from the 60's, 70's' 80's, and yes of course broadway opera songs. I want to point out the fact that these guys came from totally different backgrounds and genre's. When they sing together its like going to your favorite restaurant, ordering something completely different that you never had before and discovering that it was awesome! I will be the first to admit that I am not one for opera but was willing to check these guys out since my wife was a fan of opera. Turns out the whole family not just became fans of it, but became fans of these guys in general regardless if they sang opera or not. Individually when any one of these guys sing, they have their own style and flare about them. When they sing together, it all sounds so crisp and clean with the harmony that they have. For now they are singing to instrumentals and they already sound great. They said later on down the road they are hoping on getting a live band to play behind them. I can only imagine just how much more awesome they will sound with that! Nothing beats a live band! After the show they hang out in the lobby for photo ops and just overall mingling. They also have CD's available for purchase just in case you want to listen to more of their dynamics. All 3 of these guys are very friendly and very appreciative that you would take the time out to watch them in action. They are as humble as they are talented. So in closing, describing these guys just will not do any justice in comparison to seeing them live doing their thing. I am already planning on seeing them again and bringing others with me!
