Great concert venue! This is an old historic opera house that was once quite opulent. Today it looks like a nicely aged theater. Everything is "no cash". Getting into the venue was simply scanning ticket from phone. Beers purchased using Apple Pay. So modern for such an old place! We had front row tickets for John Hiatt concert. Plenty of leg room on front row, but seems that's not the case everywhere else. A great concert!

There is not a bad seat in the Opera House. We were on the third level and could see everything. The view was great and the show was great.

I absolutely love the Opera House! It is such a charming, unique and cozy venue and they frequently have a wide array of events. Bonus: they do not have the crazy drink prices you will find in Cincinnati or Louisville!

The building is what it sounds like, and offers a tiered, upscale performance venue in a very downtown location. There are places nearby that charge for parking, but Lexington's meters are unlikely to require payment at the hours of a performance, and there is a variety of street parking within a couple of blocks (moreso north and east). The building was in good condition, and is modest enough in size that it wasn't wildly difficult to get in or out. The size also means the price per seat is higher, but I enjoyed my show. It is a nice-looking venue.

A smaller quaint venue that doesn't have a bad seat in the house. We literally were in the last row at the top of the theater and loved our seats for Kinky Boots last year. Looking forward to more performances this year. Nice areas to hang out in prior to the performance. They brought in a local bakery for goodies and had drinks on the mezzanine of the second level before the performance we attended.

Travis Tritt was my 2nd concert here, We set upper level center isle. Our seat was great. You were only a rocks throw stage. He only does a few acoustic concerts a year & I love it. He sang or told a story from 8-10. He's a heck of a entertainer. Had a great time

Great ambiance and history to the place. Came here to see Isaac Humphries perform Songs of my Life. Amazing acoustics and lighting to enhance the show. Drinks and snacks were also available, which was a nice touch. I felt that the security getting in was a little over the top with an armed police officer there and people scanning tickets like it was an airport. Also, as a taller person myself, the seating in the Mezzanine section was very close and uncomfortable.

Good seats, great show. But but don't go too early trying to beat a rush on parking. The opera does not let you in until near curtain.

(This is something I wish was happening in other cities!) I was there recently to see Travis Tritt do his "unplugged" show.

I was associated with IMTA around the year 2007 when I was around sixteen or seventeen (and under a…read moredifferent name (my biological name))! I was very awkward at the time, but I actually really enjoyed acting, and I won't lie, I wasn't very attractive back then either (Alright, I was ugly AF until I was in my 20s). The IMTA staff were SUPER judgemental, EVERY (acting) audition I heard about was through another client of theirs (since we were working together in a community theatrical production together (I did NOT hear about the theatrical produciton through IMTA, I found the auditions via the theatre's website, auditioned, and got a role), and that particular client of IMTA was VERY beautiful in appearance)! IMTA NEVER emailed me about ANYTHING! And their "classes"? I spent hundreds of US dollars for "classes" that really didn't amount to anything! They took the money and even though I pursued them for audition emails, they only sent one or two and then they were silent for MANY months until I bugged them again! It was a vicious cycle! And the fact I feel they judged me based on my appearance f**ked my self-esteem BIG time! I mean, I've always been self-conscious about how I look due to me being bullied in elementary school (from kindergarten all the way up until late middle/early high school), but IMTA, a BUSINESS with GROWN ASS ADULTS, made it 10 times worse! I pretty much quit acting for YEARS because of them... I LOVE acting, don't get me wrong...but I still HATE doing live theatrical or on camera performances (I'm TRYING to gain more self-confidence by auditioning, but even then I'm still, very modest). That's the main reason why I became a voice actress, and honestly I LOVE voice acting better than live acting! But, the point of the matter is it was the fact that IMTA belittled a client of theirs due to their appearance rather than their talent! IF anyone wants to be in the talent industry, PLEASE do research! Agencies will NEVER ask you for money, and they will only take a profit from you IF you are cast! And, REAL Talent Agencies DO NOT offer classes! IF you see an agency saying that they offer classes, it's a SCAM! Legit classes are offered at theatres, but classes are NOT necessary. I did forget to mention that IMTA said that I'd have to take some of their classes in order to be a client. I SHOULD have walked away right then and there, but...I was sixteen-ish they LEGIT scammed an UNDERAGED girl! Honestly, the best way to get a job in the industry is to put yourself out there as best as you can!

I'm currently a Casting Producer who has worked for NBC, FOX,Discovery, Hulu, and many more companies. None...I'll repeat...none of that would have been possible had I not walked through the doors of Images. When I first came to Images the bulk of my experience came from being in high school plays in Irvine Kentucky. I had no idea what the possibilities were and honestly probably didn't consider that a career in the entertainment industry was actually possible. Janie, and Images created a space that made it possible to learn, dream, and connect with a like minded community. I consider my acting coach there(and friend now), Joe Gatton one of the most influential people in my life. He really helped a kid from a small town allow himself to have bigger dreams. As a footnote I'd like to add some advice. Big dreams require hard work, investment, and sacrifice. Being successful as an artist requires just as much or more time, sweat, and money than any other career. There is no such thing as an over night success or a free ride. If you REALLY want to have a shot to make it you need to put in the work. Some times it will be exhausting. Keep going. There are many routes one can take on the highway to success, but I can say from experience that Images was essential to my journey.
