Always super low key and not typically crowded! Clean and they have good concessions!

I love that we have a theater right here in our hometown. You don't have to go to Lexington for everything! View local :0)

Old movies, new runs, gorgeous space, fabulous service, a good bar, and the best popcorn in town. Now being run as a non-profit, I can't think of a better place to spend an afternoon or evening. Too often we are losing these types of theaters to big box, multi-plexes with no charm and no vibe. The seats might be cushier but the experience is lacking. Kentucky Theater is always our first choice for seeing movies in Lexington. The seats are not ultra plush and reclining, but they are comfortable. The overall theater experience is great. The staff is always so accomdating and willing to help resolve any issues. A true tresure, that is a prime event venue.
