5 Stars -- Freedom Psychiatry…read more I have been a patient at Freedom Psychiatry since June 2025, and my experience has been consistently exceptional. Both Ruth and Dr. Paul Okoronkwo, PMHNP, exemplify professionalism, authenticity, and responsiveness in every interaction. They take the time to listen, provide thoughtful guidance, and ensure that care is both effective and compassionate. Since beginning treatment, my anxiety, ADHD symptoms, and sleep have all improved significantly. The level of support and follow‑through from this team is truly outstanding. Freedom Psychiatry operates with the kind of integrity and patient‑centered focus that is rare to find. Highly recommended.

Horrible experience, Miranda battle talked over me multiple times in the consult, treated me like a…read moredog, and then sent me around in circles with emails for days on end instead of having me just come in to do paper work like a human being, finally got the paper work and one of the questions on there was: who recommended you, and what their license plate was??? Dumbfounded I put in a quirky answer like; idk unicorns and rainbows? She obviously hated that response and I got a long email about how she's refusing to take me because I'm a "danger to her staff." I feel so dehumanized due to my diagnosis and answering my trauma in detail thru paper work... do you know how hard that is to do alone when your seeking help? if you want to be treated like a human being with empathy don't come here they are extremely belittling and will treat you like a robot.

Dr Taylor is one of the most genuinely caring providers I've met. Previously, logistics with…read morescheduling and office communication were... glitchy to say the least, but there is new staff and new management and those unnecessary frustrations have been resolved. There's not much more I could value in a Dr then to be listened to, genuinely cared for, and looked at as a whole person rather than a symptom. I can't recommend Dr Taylor enough!

Disappointing. I was referred to this doctor by a well regarded gastroenterologist as I continue…read moreto search for a primary care doctor. My requirements are pretty simple. Mutual respect for each others time and views, be competent, professional, and ethical. I scheduled an appointment with this office only to be called back the next day and tell me that they were not taking appoitments for that day after all. OK, I get it, schedules change. I rescheduled and was told to arrive 15 min early for paperwork and that the paperwork was available online if I wanted to do it ahead of time. First, not all the forms are actually on line so what's the point and second, I did the paperwork ahead of time AND arrived early anyway. 10 min past appointment time - 15 min past appointment time - 20 min past appointment time and not a word. at 25 min past appointment time they mention that they are running late. At 35 min past appointment time I walk up and retrieve all my paperwork and leave. This office, in my experience has no respect for the patient - no less a new patient and one that was referred to them from a colleague. I can only imagine what type of doctor/patient relationship this would be if they can't even respect your time. However, based on the other reviews of Marshall Family Care, I don't' have to imagine - this seems like the way they conduct their practice. I provided the appropriate feedback to the referring physician. Go in with low expectations if you go at all.

In addition, she has retained my $300 deposit! I have been dealing with this since November 2024 (and now it is end of February 2025)!!! It is simply unacceptable to treat a patient this way! Irina - you need to code the insurance correctly though EAP! You need to refund my $300 ASAP! And you should stop charging FMLA $50 PER PAGE for your patients. You seem to just steal and offer NO assistance or ease as a therapist!!! I have since found an amazing therapist and she agrees, your policies and now disgusting treatment of me needs to be reported!!!

DO NOT GO HERE!!! Waste of time!!! I called two weeks ago,…read moregave them all my information, including my insurance information, and set up an appointment for my child. They then called me the friday before my appointment asking me to reschedule, no reason given. So I rescheduled. Then they called me the friday before my appointment again stating that they were not open on MLK day and they wanted to reschedule the appointment, unless I could come in at 0900. I explained that I work and that I would need an afternoon appointment, and that I didnt mind rescheduling again if need be. The lady I spoke to was rude and said, so your going to need an afternoon appointment every time. I said yes, because I work. She said fine then to accomidate you we will keep the appointment for the same time and day. We then showed up for appointment and after waiting 20 minutes, they started asking me about my insurance company and that they dont take my insurance. I told them that they had two weeks to figure this out and it should have been figured out by them prior to me coming in, especially since my insurance said they were in network. So not only did they reschedule me once, then wanted to reschedule me again, they didn't even have the common courtesy to verify my insurance. I took off early from work so that my child can get the help he needs. I walked out and will never ever go there again and I will be sure to tell everyone I know what a joke this place is. I will find a much better place to service my child's needs... again DO NOT GO HERE.. Rude personnel!!!

Dr Nicholls is not mentally fit, he should no longer be practicing. My family was in crisis, and Dr…read moreNichols was given full details of our need, he accepted us as new patients. Dr Nicholls was careless and negligent in providing any care whatsoever. After the initial "intake" (bogus appointment of no substance) they postponed testing until the crisis escalated. They saw us a second time, cutting the testing short, to reschedule for over a month later. I complained to the receptionist about the time frame and Dr Nicholls walked right past me not caring to ask about my complaint. When I called he showed no interest in the health of my child. Be cautious at the young interns who appear compassionate, they are a front for a "doctor" who is checked out. I can only guess that Dr Nicholls retired mentally a long time ago. Proceed with caution if you actually need help like I did.
