When it comes to a stress-free wedding day, Janet starts your wedding day the right way! Disney had sent a list of vendors that they recommend for Disney weddings. Getting married in Florida while living in New York City, I was apprehensive about organising from such distance. Janet made sure that everything was a breeze! From the start, Janet eased all my concerns. She took the time to work with my schedule in regards to doing a trial run the month before my wedding and planning out my wedding day timeline. I was worried that things wouldn't work out as I had planned to do a photoshoot in Epcot the morning of my wedding, but once again Janet put all my worries at rest. Janet is an expert at early morning shoots with Disney! Janet and I spoke via email/phone so that the day of the trial run I'd be prepared for makeup/hair ideas. During the trial run, Janet took the time to make sure that I loved my look, this went a long way to ease my fears- especially because I hardly ever wear make-up day to day. After, Janet took photos of every angle and what makeup was used so that the day of we'd be able to breeze through. Day of the wedding, Janet came to our hotel at the Riviera at 4am to get started so that I'd be ready to go by 7 for the photo shoot. Janet did my makeup wonderfully while we chatted. Janet was able to also help with my hair piece and even offered to help me with my dress if needed. We received a list of vendors from Disney for our wedding. I did a ton of research on all the vendors and chose to go with Onsite Beauty. I could not have made a better decision. Janet called me almost immediately and was extremely friendly. I mentioned the planning session and scheduled a consultation, where she did a full makeup and hair trial for me. I had some ideas for what I wanted, but she recommended I did not go that way because my hair was very thin and she did not want the pictures to look bad. Instead, she did some hairstyles she came up with and I fell in love! The day of the wedding, she did my hair, my mom's hair, my 6 bridesmaids' hair, and my 3 flower girls' hair, and everyone looked incredible. My wedding was inside, but the reception was outside on the boardwalk in the middle of May. Everyone's hair remained perfect throughout the night, despite the humidity. I also had On Site do my makeup. Biju did an incredible job. I had Biju and Janet come back a few days later to do my hair and makeup for the portrait session, and they were able to recreate it perfectly. I highly highly recommend On site. One of the many great things about a Disney Wedding is that they provide a list of vendors that have worked with them. It is through this list that I discovered Janet. Mind you, I am not a girly-girl so I knew that I needed to have someone do that for me. So after some review of the potential vendors, I contacted Janet and her friendly nature calmed all fears I had about the big day and how I would look. I really didn't have the time for a trial run so based on my gut feeling about Janet, I didn't force it into the schedule, and I don't regret that decision at all. She arrived as expected and quickly got to work. It was supposed to be hair and make-up for me, hair for sister and make-up for my niece. But things changed when Emma (the 6 year niece) commented how excited she was, and how she couldn't wait to get her hair done like her aunt and mom. Janet heard her ... asked Kelly if it was ok and then started to work on Emma's hair. When asked about her schedule and if this would make her late to her next appointment, she replied "that was ok, I need to do her hair." She made Emma feel like a princess. And my hair/make-up was just what I wanted. She made us all feel like queens and princesses. Two mornings later I got to go through the process again, when we got up even early for our wedding portraits (in the Magic Kingdom, in front, in and behind the castle). She quickly recreated my look from the wedding day. She was very easy to talk to and made the time go so quickly. I can not say too many good things about Janet and the professional job she did. My makeup and hair were stunning for my wedding photos and I got amazing compliments on how I looked. If you want someone to make you look stunning on your wedding day, Janet is the person to go with. I didn't have an exact idea of how I wanted my hair and makeup but Janet did an amazing job and did everything perfectly. I had my wedding at Disney-world and was traveling from CA. I was very nervous about not meeting the hair stylist and makeup artist before the big day but after speaking to Janet, I felt fairly confident in her ability. Before my wedding in July, I had a makeup trial with Janet. She invited me to her home instead of the studio since it was a closer drive. I had pictures of the hair and makeup I wanted. For the makeup, she didn't have any of the right colors. She spent a lot of time looking around and didn't seem very confident that she had the right shades (the colors I wanted were pretty natural, so I was a little worried as to why she didn't have similar ones). I had to suggest bringing in my own palettes on wedding day to help her out. When she was finished, I was kind of in shock because it looked absolutely nothing like the picture I showed her. It looked okay, but it felt really old-fashioned. No contouring. My eyebrows looked atrocious, so I told her politely that I would do them myself on wedding day. She told me that my lashes would be free then, which was very nice of her. Next came the hair. I had some pictures of a messy low bun with some braids going into it - nothing too complicated. I can't even remember how many times she had to redo it. The outcome was... pretty bad. Again, nothing like the pictures. A two hour appointment turned into five. I'm young, so I like to keep up with hair and makeup trends and have gotten pretty good at doing my own makeup. I just don't think this place can keep up. I finally decided that I was going to do my own makeup and hire a different company to do hair for the bridal party. Janet was very understanding, even offered to do another trial for free with a different stylist, but I had already made my decision. Got my deposit back and everything. She is amazing! Janet is incredibly talented and professional. She was so flexible the day of and the whole time up till. I had added two people to the list of ladies needing their hair and makeup on the day before and she took this in stride. She made my whole family feel comfortable and relaxed as she dolled them up. My wedding was at Lake Mary Event Center and I got ready at the Marriott Hotel near there. She was on time and ready to go from the start. I didn't even have a clue what I wanted to do with my hair and she helped me create and decide on a still that I got soooo many compliments on I know it was a hit. Even my groom said how much he loved it without any prompting ;). She and her assistant styled all our make up. All I asked for for my makeup was to look like the most incredible version of myself without looking fake, and Janet gave me just that. She made me feel and look stunning.
