In all, I've purchased 3 computers from him, each was in excellent condition and I am still using one which I purchased several years ago. I also purchased one for my wife and she is very happy with hers. I've found Albert to be very professional, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. Above all, I've found him to be completely honest and straight forward. I've read some of the negative reviews, however my experience my experience has always been very positive. I will return. We went to all major retailers and a couple of used computer shops but had no luck. Roger at Edgar's was able to locate a used charger that worked for us. It was a little pricey ($55) for a 9 year old used charger but we were glad he had it and paid the price. The perk was playing with his massive cat that seemed to weigh 25 lbs.

Within only six months -- and after an earlier crash I barely managed to recover from -- the system became unstable and eventually had to be repaired by a different technician. I am 88 and on oxygen, and I rely on my computer every day. I wish I had been warned that forcing Windows 11 onto older, unsupported hardware can lead to serious instability in a short period of time. Edgar clearly knows his craft, but customers -- especially seniors or those on fixed incomes -- should ask whether an upgrade is truly safe and appropriate for their specific machine.

They offer a 30 day warranty and stand by their work. All of their repairs have been completed in a matter of hours, as soon as/if the parts are in. One of the three times they repaired my phone, it was because they recognized an issue with the screen they put in and replaced it for free.
