Really cute truck with super friendly staff! I got a pretty tasty acai bowl from here and appreciated all the options for customization. They have a ton of toppings and sauces to choose from and the option to pick yogurt or acai as a base. My acai was good, a little icy but still tasty. For the size, I think these bowls are a little on the pricey side, but could be justified for a once in a while treat. This truck is located near multiple other food trucks, which I appreciate because it gave us the option to try lots of different places without having to walk far. I haven't found a good tart frozen yogurt in a long time. The acai mix is also very good. Fruity without being too gritty. The fruit topping on the Fruit Bowl was great too and the little bit of honey was perfect. Strawberries, kiwi, and pineapple were sliced small enough to be enjoyable but big enough to be nice to chew on. I wish I got an extra large size. I think I need to go back and get another one. Food (4.25/5): I got a medium layers of heaven with frozen Greek yogurt base and a medium wild berry with açaí base. I do not recommend the açaí --it was quite bland and flavorless; the fruit topping was really fresh though. The Greek yogurt though, I highly highly recommend! We had acai yogurt with local fruit toppings (banana, pineapple and papaya) topped with condense milk. $9 for large size, good enough for sharing. Yogurt has very good flavor, not too sweet, and smooth. Fruits are very fresh. They ran out of lilikoi sauce... so we had condense milk. Delightful! I CAN'T believe I've been coming here for years and never ventured to the other side of Giovanni's. We knew it would take a while for the the garlic shrimp scampi, so I sent my husband to brave the Giovanni's line and I trekked outwards. Ono Yo has the cutest little food truck, complete with a gorgeous wooden patio right in front of it. Since it was my first time there, it took me a while to scour over the menu of creations. They have SO MANY to choose from! I settled on the PB&J...I mean, who can go wrong with that? DING!! DING!! DING!!! WINNAH!! I got the plain yogurt as the base and this frozen yogurt was nothing short of amazing. As soon as we took our first bite, we looked at each other like WHAT THE HEEEEECK THIS IS SO GOOD!!!! We were competing for bites and that sucka was gone in like 3 minutes. The peanut butter shavings on top are blissful and the strawberry jam perfection. You wanna know something? As SOON as we inhaled this one, my husband sent me back over to Ono Yo to get another one! It's usually ME that does things like that, but HE was like, go get another one...our food will take a while anyway... which just meant it was that good, so he wanted more. For the second one in a 5-minute span, we got the Ono Island. Again, delicious! I normally don't care for coconut shavings, but in this creation, it was wonderful. Loved the crunch and nuttiness of the macadamia nuts and again, we inhaled this one. Moral of the story? If you're EVER even remotely close to this side of the island, Ono Yo is a MUST.
