Danny is utterly wonderful - I am saying that first in case people do not want to read the whole essay that I am about to write! The main point that you need to know is that if you are looking for someone to help you through a dreadful patch, to bring you calm and to give you perspective and someone who will do that with genuine warmth and understanding then I want to recommend Danny - I recommend him to anyone struggling with any sort of psychological issues ... he brought my family salvation. I don't however want to just sound like I am gushing and that is why I also want / need to tell the story - just a bit. I came to him last year with a most terrible worry about my father who was suffering with all sorts of ailments, both physical and psychological, and I simply did not know where to begin or how my Dad was going to deal with any of it. He had a really important job that he was working on at the time and there was a danger of his losing the contract - the consequences of which would have been dreadful. I did think that the bad physical condition he was in was exacerbated by his bad mental state at the time - terrible anger, deep lack of confidence and extreme anxiety and panic attacks so I felt that if we could tackle the psychological problems first then maybe the physical would at least be eased. Somehow we were lucky enough to find Danny who I can say, hand on heart, proved to be hugely instrumental in my dad's and all of our's getting through this really dreadful period. My father was completely anti going to see a hypnotherapist but somehow we got him there and from the moment Danny appeared my Dad seemed to just let himself be taken care of - we all felt calmer and encouraged. Danny was immediately so kind and warm and gentle and gave us all immediate hope that we would be ok. And indeed we were; when my Dad came back downstairs after that first session he was so different. He talked to my Mother and me later that day about some of the things Danny had said which really resonated with him, and he had a greater calm and a clearer perspective than we had seen in a long time. Danny was wonderful in following up the sessions with me, giving me his thoughts on how my Dad had seemed and fared in the sessions, and he displayed such intelligence about it all. Ultimately my father only had 2 sessions with Danny, ( Danny had recommended 3 but alas my father's schedule was so limited that for the final session Dad saw one of Danny's recommendations - also very good), but still Dany followed up after that and made sure he knew how my Father was doing. And the point is my dad was just - SO much better! just DIFFERENT! SO much better! I wish my dad would actually see Danny on a regular basis because I really believe these deep seated issues take time to deal with fully, but I believe they could almost be eradicated if you had this sort of therapy as a constant in your life ... alas my dad is not the type to do that! However, Danny got him - and my mother and I who were terrified - through that awful awful time. I really believe my father held on to the job because of having visited Danny and I will be eternally grateful for his talent and his kind care. Thank you again Danny - you have my wholehearted respect gratitude and admiration. read more
