I would highly recommend Onesimus Woodcraft to anyone! I reached out to DC to build a custom kitchen cabinet meant to house a built-in microwave and oven. He was very responsive and meticulous in his measurements. The cabinet was delivered and installed ahead of his quoted estimate and it turned out beautifully! read more

Donald is a professional and any wood type related job master! His job is second to none. We are so grateful that we choose him as our cabinet builder. We gave him the idea and he ran with it; results are amazing. He stayed within our budget and created a master piece. Will 100% recommend and will choose him to do any improvements in our house again! Please see pictures (the pictures don't do justice to the actual built in person) read more

DC built a wonderful deck for us. He showed up on time each day that he said he was going to be working at our house. The quality of his craftsmanship is wonderful. The deck was completed in a very reasonable time frame. We are very happy with our deck! read more

This was a terrific experience all around. Donald confirmed what I wanted, we even discussed options and decided on a great solution. He came over when we agreed, did terrific work, and was really personable. Donald even did extra - he asked if I wanted the screen around the chimney painted black and did so. I highly recommend his work, and will be keeping his contact details for any other home projects I need. He'll be one of my first calls from now on. read more

I highly recommend Onesimus Woodcraft! He did an excellent job adding railing to our living room overlook. We were afraid to leave it open with our kids being upstairs a lot. He gave the best quote, and did a fantastic job! We are so pleased with how it turned out. He matched up the same design we have for our stair railing and it came out looking better than I anticipated! Fast turn around, excellent results, super friendly, and all around a great person to work with! read more

DC is a true craftsman. His attention to workmanship and detail is excellent. He is always on the job when expected. I can't say enough about his workmanship. read more

DC did a great job of trimming my front door that used to stick so bad that my son actually broke a door handle trying to open it at one point. Took off just enough to open easily but not so much that it became an air leak problem. He did that the day he came over to give me an estimate. He also walked me through needing a new back door rather than being able to Weatherproof the old one. Had to wait a couple of weeks while he finished another job but it was well worth it to have him do the work. He did a great job although the door doesn't have enough insulation to be on the north side of my house and I have had to add some insulation. Not his fault and it wasn't cold with that he did it, thank heavens, so he didn't know nor did I until the next big cold front. Any woodworking needs that I have in the future he is top of my list. read more

DC was my rescue call. I hired another handyman to remove and install a front door and install a storm door. The person I originally hired did not do a good job. Side comment: the ONLY reason I went with someone else is they could get to the job the next day and DC was scheduled out for a week or so. I called DC and laid it all out for him. He was willing to come from Florence to Austin to check out the job and see if he could salvage. He noted the issues with the previous installer and additional issues with the door itself (I do not know how to inspect a door) and said that he could fix me for the same price he already quoted. I have other work that I'm planning to run by DC when I have some money and I would highly recommend him. He's honest, hardworking, prepared, etc. and he has the best deaf puppy ever! DC - sorry for the late post. I still haven't painted the door but I didn't want to wait any longer. read more

Worked with DC to remove drywall in my bedroom and put up beadboard on the walls and ceiling. He was well priced, punctual, had great communication around his daily arrivals/departure and his work is TOP notch. He ended up taking care of a few extra things around my house and did a fantastic job on everything. I will definitely work with DC again. read more

Excellent work yet again! I had 2 windows installed, 2 new doors hung, and I also had siding replaced..Donald's attention to detail is unmatched, seriously he does fabulous work. Everything is level and the doors are flush, they open and close without any issues. read more

Working with DC was a great experience. He responded quickly and was able to tackle 3 separate items that we needed to address. We got a quote the next day and he was able to walk us through the different things he needed to do and what the price break down was. I still can believe how quickly he was able fit us in and finish the project. He puts a great deal of care into his work to make sure that it's done right. The best way to describe this is that he went above and beyond and was reasonably priced. We'll definitely be contacting him again for future project! Thanks DC! read more

Our new hot water heater install resulted in a complete Destruction of the existing trim and door frame and the unit protruded past the original clearance. Deece responded quickly, gave me a same day estimate, took the door with him to procure materials and build a new frame to accommodate the new requirements and installed it seamlessly a day and a half later. Will hire him again! read more

Working with DC was a pleasure. He was on time, communicative, a great problem solver, and very fairly priced. He came to remove and install a new front door. He ran into a couple problems- there was no cement foundation under the door, as well as some wiring issues with the doorbell, and he knew exactly what to do. He laid concrete under the door and re-wired the doorbell. He definitely has a wide skill set. The door looks great, and it was a low stress project for me. Thanks! read more

Two different jobs well done, on the spot, for a fair fee. Very much appreciated the willingness to tackle my two tasks immediately, including a quick joint run to Home Depot for a few needed parts. Knows his stuff and very pleasant to deal with end-to-end. Five stars and will call DC again. Many thanks! read more

Great response time to my request. Scheduled me for a next day appointment. Quoted a very reasonable price (other companies had a two-hour minimum charge). Communicated when he would be arriving and showed up on time. Did the requested work nicely, for the price quoted. I have added him to my Contacts for any future work. read more

My husband and I had a list of small home repairs and art installations we needed before our sons and their girlfriends came to visit us for a week. Donald did a walk through and gave great recommendations. He made himself availble to complete the project within our time frame and gave us a reasonable price. He was on time and took great efforts to get each of our projects perfect. He did not rush. Even though he didn't complete everything we agreed upon in the first session, he came back the very next morning at no extra charge to complete the work. We, of course, made sure he was compensated for the extra time. Donald is personable, sincere, and paied attention to the details. We will be calling him again and highly recommend him to anyone needing home repairs or installations. (Not included in the pictures are two air vent fan replacements and back door caulking.... This guy really does everything!) read more
