A week later, I ask her the status, now she had to have some things done, but first the electricity had to be turned on. We gave a 30 day notice, there was plenty of time to have electricity transferred. Last week she said she had all the receipts and would try to get the deposit out by the end of the week. Today, we get another late notice, it says our deposit is still on file. Can someone please help us? We have leased homes for years and never had this much trouble getting our deposit back and we have never had a property manager lie to us. It's beyond ridiculous!!

Unfortunately I did not get this in writing and was charged for not cleaning the carpet.
