The interest rates are Super High, but I was told when I accepted the loan that I could refinance the loan at a lower rate once I build my credit score. When I worked to build my credit score, I am now being told to refinance would only save me a months payment, but it would not bring my interest rate down from 35%. One Main does not want you to ever pay your loan off at this rate.DO NOT get A Loan from this company. Yes, it's easy to get a loan from them, All the good reviews on here are from customers who "Just received their no hassle loan" Getting the loan is not the problem. Most of us get a loan to pay off in the timeframe of 36, 48 or 60 months. YOU won't ever get them paid and they were not truthful upfront about my refinance. They need stop calling me when I clearly requested to defer a payment. I have several written emails that prove this. My account does not reflect the deferred payment. They continue to call me when I specifically want written email communication. All they have to do is reply to my email. I gave them 2 stars because it was easy to process the loan. This is place is a complete waste of time supposedly I was approved for 12k . Now keep this in mind I was told over the phone more than 10 times I'm approved!!!! This is coming from "Lucy" she kept saying congratulations blah blah. supplied more documentation she wanted and she said she will call me back in 20 minutes to go over the loan documents so I can sign them and receive my funds today!!! I was like cool .. Then I received a call from "Lucy" saying that she called my employer and they said I don't work there anymore which is B/S . I work "graveyard shift " I come to work to an empty store and leave right before associates work. But wait you never said anything about calling my employer to verify my employment? Had she said that before hand I would've notified my manager. Wtf kinda game is this ? You guys requested payroll checks current statements etc . I called my employer and they said that they aren't allowed to give out any information about employees I should know better than that so I look like an idiot not just once but twice. We were sent a pre selected check in the mail from our local One Main Financial in Oxnard,CA. We were requesting the $3000 that was sent to us and after on week of providing 2 yrs of documented,pay stubs,tax returns and the like, we were told we were approved for more than we requested and to make an appointment to sign the documents and pick up our check. We arrived for our appointment ,gave them more information including our identification, then the financial officer returned to say, now we were not approved. Terrible experience,terrible customer service and we can not recommended One Main Financial to anyone. read more

One Main Financial is not the place to go if you are disabled. They obtain all our information, said we were approved. We went to our appointment with the documents they needed. They had us there for a while, then they told us we were not approved. They seem kind of suspicious to us. Why would you get all of someone personal business, tell them they are approved and then tell they are not approved. That is not right. We don't recommend One Main Financial to anyone. I recently got a loan at OneMain Financial, specifically the Sylmar branch. They're the best! They were so personal. I'm pretty surprised at the other reviews because I had a great experience with them. They told me I was approved over the phone. They asked me to bring basic docs to the appointment. I was in and out of the appointment in like 30 mins. All paperwork was electronically signed and money was wired. Couldn't have been a quicker process. Don't listen to these reviews, try them out. read more
