Came in today looking for a loan and got it the same day. Brenda was super sweet & helpful. She explained everything to me and even gave me her business card. read more

I came in because a friend referred me. But to be honest they're just a huge waste of time. They told me that I needed to apply with a co applicant, and I did. However, they only reach out to me when they're about to close. Literally they wanted to do everything through their website when that useless shit never works. The store manager Erik got terrible customer service like he's not getting pay to be there. And after reading reviews I think I got saved from even more problems. STAY AWAY FROM THEM! read more

Lucy at one main financial is rude and harasses customers without even having proper information. It's like she spends her day waiting to call and harass customers. She should not be working there. I was fired from my job but luckily I got the insurance yet she calls me 3 times a day after I've already done all I needed to do via my loan insurance. She even had the audacity to ask me in the rudest tone, "Did you plan on quitting your job?!" No one plans to quit their job. I was actually very upset that I was wrongfully terminated, and that did not make it any better, especially her harassing me for payments that are being paid by my insurance that I got through them in case of something like this happening. Lucy seems like a very old bitter lady that has nothing better to do than harass customers her concern because I'm dealing with it with the insurance and she knows that yet she still calls and plays them every day. read more

This company sucks. They don't want to do business, they are so comfortable sitting down and letting the link do the work for them while they go on lunch when I call the office. Apparently their lunch is all business hours. They will have you repeating the same information for a week straight and that's their way of wanting you to go a different company. Don't do any business with Lucia and Cecelia, both leisurely individuals. 1 star for a reason. read more

Do not borrow money from this company, they will ROB YOU, they compound the interest until it absorbs all your principal, the so called loan specialist will lie to you and tell you one thing then Rip you off for your money, they are liars, and have no morals or scruples, they just want to rip you off, they will tell you what you wanna hear then, ROB YOUR MONEY, the store in Oxnard is the BIGGEST FAKES, do NOT get a loan from these BLOOD SUCKERS!!! read more

this place gets a negative 5 stars, don't ever get a loan from these people, complete rip off. i repeat do not get a loan, i had a great credit score once before above 720,these people enjoy ruining lives. some how it sounds to good to be true. i was looking for a great loan in 2018 i thought at the time the rates were low but some how these people got me in a 36% loan. do the math $221.00 a month from april 18 to now i should almost be done with this loan, they said i still owe another $4,200. they are doing fraud and they should go to jail for what they are doing read more

The interest rates are Super High, but I was told when I accepted the loan that I could refinance the loan at a lower rate once I build my credit score. When I worked to build my credit score, I am now being told to refinance would only save me a months payment, but it would not bring my interest rate down from 35%. One Main does not want you to ever pay your loan off at this rate.DO NOT get A Loan from this company. Yes, it's easy to get a loan from them, All the good reviews on here are from customers who "Just received their no hassle loan" Getting the loan is not the problem. Most of us get a loan to pay off in the timeframe of 36, 48 or 60 months. YOU won't ever get them paid and they were not truthful upfront about my refinance. Not to mention someone from the office sent me someone else's loan information my email. NOT A Place to get a loan. read more

OneMain Financial - The place to be.. - Installment Loans Near Me - Sylmar, California

They need stop calling me when I clearly requested to defer a payment. I have several written emails that prove this. My account does not reflect the deferred payment. They continue to call me when I specifically want written email communication. All they have to do is reply to my email. I gave them 2 stars because it was easy to process the loan. Other than that, find another lender and save yourself some hassle. read more

I had a very good customer service experience with Linda she was attentive and walked me carefully through process.

This is place is a complete waste of time supposedly I was approved for 12k . Now keep this in mind I was told over the phone more than 10 times I'm approved!!!! This is coming from "Lucy" she kept saying congratulations blah blah. supplied more documentation she wanted and she said she will call me back in 20 minutes to go over the loan documents so I can sign them and receive my funds today!!! I was like cool .. Then I received a call from "Lucy" saying that she called my employer and they said I don't work there anymore which is B/S . I work "graveyard shift " I come to work to an empty store and leave right before associates work. But wait you never said anything about calling my employer to verify my employment? Had she said that before hand I would've notified my manager. Wtf kinda game is this ? You guys requested payroll checks current statements etc . I called my employer and they said that they aren't allowed to give out any information about employees I should know better than that so I look like an idiot not just once but twice. I called "Lucy" back and she was completely rude and disrespectful called me a lier more than once and wouldn't even let me explain are policies .. screw this place don't waste your time with these people. read more

Not Sure who would be looking on yelp for a review of this place but because ive had terrible experiences with them I thought Id leave a review to caution you. When looking for a financial institution for ANY reason, I strongly urge you to not even consider this place in your options. The customer service is horrible and their policies are horrendous. They act like they care about you to try and get your business but and no matter how good of a customer you are AFTER theyve got your business youll wish that you hadnt given it to them. Stay Far Away. read more

We were sent a pre selected check in the mail from our local One Main Financial in Oxnard,CA. We were requesting the $3000 that was sent to us and after on week of providing 2 yrs of documented, pay stubs, tax returns and the like, we were told we were approved for more than we requested and to make an appointment to sign the documents and pick up our check. We arrived for our appointment ,gave them more information including our identification, then the financial officer returned to say, now we were not approved. Terrible experience, terrible customer service and we can not recommended One Main Financial to anyone. read more

One Main Financial is not the place to go if you are disabled. They obtain all our information, said we were approved. We went to our appointment with the documents they needed. They had us there for a while, then they told us we were not approved. They seem kind of suspicious to us. Why would you get all of someone personal business, tell them they are approved and then tell they are not approved. That is not right. We don't recommend One Main Financial to anyone. We had is very bad experience. read more

dont use OneMain Financial...please be careful, they will take your soul...they will take payments and won't even reflect on your account...please please don't do it read more

I recently got a loan at OneMain Financial, specifically the Sylmar branch. They're the best! They were so personal. I'm pretty surprised at the other reviews because I had a great experience with them. They told me I was approved over the phone. They asked me to bring basic docs to the appointment. I was in and out of the appointment in like 30 mins. All paperwork was electronically signed and money was wired. Couldn't have been a quicker process. Don't listen to these reviews, try them out. read more
