Ultimately, Linda responded and Quicken didn't. The rates and cost were virtually the same. We should have known after the errors that I caught (thus having to spend hours reprinting in her office w our newborn). On the closing day, she was extremely disorganized, flustered and confused. We recently contacted her again to look at a refi her response was slow and it seemed to be more of a bother than a service. She didn't know the rules of the program and told me it wouldn't be available. Quicken knew more. When it came to our due diligence, we quoted 3 firms and Linda and Quicken had the best rates again. I begin to peel back the onion and ask questions. Linda realized she couldn't compete, she decided to sent a fairly condescending text essentially telling me she didn't have time for me and I seem to have an "affinity" for Quicken. What I have an affinity for is placing my methane in the right hands, her weren't them obviously. We wanted to give our buisness to a local company like the last time, but Lindas careless attitude and condescending brush off assured me that we couldn't this time. 100% unprofessional. Either way, avoid her. Her techniques are archaic and she acts in poor character when confronted with competitive numbers, basically her job. Linda doesn't like to work. She will tell you stories of how she is so busy she is and how clients are banging her door down; like it's some sort of privilege to be allowed to work with her. She also expects you to be lazy and just believe what ever she tells you. It's too bad more of her clients didn't do a simple due diligence check - it could have saved them tens of thousands.

My clients have always been nothing but happy with Linda's professionalism and knowledge of the mortgage industry. She walks first time buyers through the process step by step and works tireless hours, just two of the reasons I send clients to her. I have even needed her myself way past "normal" business hours. The below horrible review was one of my clients, who seems to have gotten a few FACTS misconstrued, as I keep in excellent communication with my clients, their lenders and the attorney and therefore know what is going on within the real estate transaction. Possibly the reason they went back to the same company for a refinance??The day of the closing, everything went just fine and it was the attorney who had to get up and print up missing paperwork, not Linda. There were no major errors as far as I can remember, and in all honesty sometimes humans make errors. I myself will always recommend Linda to anyone needing a mortgage, refinance or construction loan, as I have never dealt with any other lender that is as patient, knowledgeable, communicative or hardworking as Linda.
