David McDavid Honda of Frisco - TSA Trailer Stability Assist System Problem

David McDavid Honda of Frisco

Called to confirm if they had a car I was looking for in stock today. The salesperson informed me…read moreover the phone that he had two in stock, and was looking at one right now. He even pulled it up to the front for me before I arrived. We test drove, and he listened to my needs and wants for a new car. After deciding to go through with the sale, I was unfortunately unable to work out a deal with finances. Despite our non sale, Terrance was polite, honest, and listened to everything I told him. I would definitely return and buy a car from Terrance in the future. Thank you for a positive experience on a Monday morning. This is the best Honda dealership in north texas.

I'm very disappointed with my experience at McDavid Honda Frisco. I bought this car soon after I…read moremoved to the United States. I was new to the country and didn't know much about cars. So I went to a dealership because I expected honest advice and help choosing the right vehicle. Instead, they offered me a car that cost almost twice my budget. The sales manager told me it was the right car for me. He said it had no damage and was in good condition. I trusted him and signed the papers. A short time later, I found out the car had hail damage. Someone had drilled holes along the upper door arches to repair it, then covered the holes with black duct tape. The repair was poor, and any professional could see it. I went back to the dealership and explained that the car's condition did not match the price I paid. The staff brushed me off. They told me the exterior was not their responsibility. They said the engine was fine and the Carfax was clean. They also said they didn't know about the body damage. That's hard for me to believe. This is a Honda dealership, and my car is a Toyota. That means it almost certainly came in as a trade-in. Any respectable dealership inspects a trade-in from top to bottom before setting a price. That includes the body, not only the engine. The car also sat on their lot for about a month. How did nobody notice taped-over holes in the doors? The previous owner may have done the repair. That would also explain why the Carfax showed nothing. Hail damage often never shows up if the owner doesn't file a claim and fixes it privately. But if the dealership knew about the damage and didn't tell me, that is on them. They also told me I should have gotten an outside inspection before buying. Some of the staff made sarcastic comments about what I should expect from a used car. The sales manager even said he saw the car for the first time the day I came in. It felt like they stopped caring the moment I signed. I'm a woman who is not a car expert, like most regular buyers. I can't spot a hidden body repair, and I shouldn't have to. That is exactly why I went to a dealership instead of buying from a stranger. I expected professional guidance and an honest assessment. I did not expect sarcasm and excuses when I raised a real problem. Now I'm paying about $31,000 total for a car I believe is worth around $10,000. I feel misled and disrespected. If you're buying a used car, have an independent mechanic inspect it first. Based on my experience, I can't recommend McDavid Honda Frisco.

They treated me fairly!!! I am 100 percent satisfied with the outcome!! I would recommend using Capital One Auto Finance Company to anyone looking to buy a car!! They are fair and go out of their way to help you. Thank you to Toyneshia for her concern and quick response.I do appreciate you!!

It was and my dealer sent new contract to Capital One, I've been on the phone with them every day for an hour. They keep pestering me to sign up to their site for new auto account. I refused until they showed correct dollar amount financed. I have been trying to solve this problem since 5/1/26 and they cannot set-up my auto account. User name was rejected, they say they will clear that. Today I got all the way to user name and password but showed my phone number as wrong, which an Agent named Anika, from presidents office noticed but never corrected. Now my first payment is due in 5/12 and they can't correct my phone number for 7 to 12 days ( past my due date). Anika from so called Presidents office gave me her private phone number with Ext. O to directly reach her. It was total B.S.; the number put me through their boiler room of agents who don't speak clear English. Capital One Finance is a Cluster F##ck of incompetent employees and you have to tell the AUTOMATED SYSTEM requesting AGENT several times before you're connected to an agent (never same one) with terrible English. I have a credit card with Capital One for 10 years and have no complaints-very professional. I recommend finding your own finance company and be pre approved before dealing with Capital One before purchasing car. Even though my contract was changed within 24 hours on 5/1/26, the change has not been rectified and when I thought all was resolved, their site shut me out to create account for auto-payments simply because they wrote down wrong phone number. WHAT THE HELL.!!?? They are incompetent CLUSTER F# # K S !!!
