What an amazing experience I had at Toyota of Renton! My sales human was Joshua Breshears. From the…read moretime I called to inquire about a car, he presented himself with respect, professionalism, and positivity. Everything played out wonderfully when we began our in-person discussion; he provided real numbers and figures, was reasonable, realistic, and very organized. I was so pleased with the transparency of his communication; he gave no double-meanings, no bait-and switches. Just an honest person who knew everything about the car he was selling to me and provided extra pieces of valuable information to get set up for value along the way(warranty details, safety, etc.). I am proud to be able to refer friends and family to Joshua with the assurance that they will encounter a kind, knowledgeable, and professional salesperson who follows solid and ethical business practices and great deals. Thank you Joshua and Toyota Renton!

We chose Toyota of Renton because of your strong reputation and positive reviews, not because you…read morehad the lowest price. Unfortunately, our experience fell well short of that reputation. At delivery, the truck was not properly detailed. There was a dirty towel left inside, the center console was unclean, bird droppings on the exterior, and the truck bed had not been cleaned. For a vehicle that had been reserved for a week and given the amount we paid, this level of preparation was unacceptable. We were not provided a walkthrough of the truck's features, no guidance on the Toyota app, and no explanation of how to set up payments. We also were not informed at the time of purchase that we could upgrade rims and tires by paying the difference -- something we only discovered later through the service manager, after the opportunity had passed. While Bradley was professional and polite, the overall sales process lacked clear communication and follow-through. After an accessory upgrade, we were not properly advised about the window tinting process and only learned not to roll the windows down from a small Post-it note. Most disappointing, after Keith, the Sales Manager, personally asked us to leave a review, I emailed him twice to address these concerns and received no response over several months. That lack of accountability reinforced our concerns about the overall customer experience. We expected a higher level of professionalism, communication, and attention to detail.

My family has been going to this dealership to buy and service our cars since we moved to America…read morein 2015. We have always loved their fast, kind, and efficient service. When I took out my side mirror a few years ago, they were able to get it fixed within a week. Logan in the service department is our go-to, and he always takes really good care of any services or repairs to my car. He is super friendly and whenever I have questions or concerns about my car, he makes me feel heard and validated and answers them thoroughly. Their service team always goes above and beyond to make my car look and run like brand new. I just wish they would plug my dash cam back in when they're done so I'm not driving around with it not recording... Yesterday, when I needed advice on how to remove paint transfer from my car, I called the store first to see if I could get a recommendation over the phone. A sales department rep told me I could text the service department pictures, and they would be able to help me. When I texted the service department however, I was shocked at how abrasive and unhelpful the employee, Sophia, was. She even gave me the name and phone number of a different place to go. When I explained that I had never taken my car to anyone other than Toyota and that I was worried about a third party damaging my paint, she continued to tell me she couldn't offer me any help. So I ended up driving all the way to Toyota from where I live in Issaquah because y'all have literally never let me down, and I knew that if I went there, I would be able to find some help. The greeter outside was so kind. He actively listened to me before directing me to the parts department, telling me they could definitely help me. Everyone in the parts department was so nice and welcoming, and told me exactly what to do for my car and where to get what I needed. All I wanted was a recommendation that wouldn't damage my paint, and I was so grateful to get to talk to people who were so friendly and empowering. Scott even went above and beyond, going to double-check with the detailers to see if they had any advice on clay bars or anything to help me with the paint transfer. He even came out to look at my car with a microfibre cloth to see if he could help out. After being so frustrated at not getting help, I appreciated how he reassured me about how to get the paint transfer off and made sure that I was confident in my next steps.

I wanted to make an informed decision, but I felt like I was pressured and the manager came out to try and sell me on a deal that was way over what it should have been. I did not like the way the manager talked about his sales person and his attitude did not help the situation. Needless to say I did not buy a car from them. They also were going to send me some information about the quote after the meeting but I never received it even after calling the sales representative.

I can't say enough good things about my experience with Tae at Toyota of Lake City. Buying a new…read morevehicle is usually stressful, but Tae made the entire process smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. He was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and never once made me feel pressured. Even when a few unexpected issues came up with the model and lease residual values, Tae was completely transparent and worked through everything with me. Those issues weren't his fault, but he took ownership of helping find answers and kept me updated every step of the way. What really sets Tae apart is that his customer service didn't end once I signed the paperwork. He was incredibly responsive whenever I reached out, always got back to me quickly, and never left me wondering what was happening. He also made sure an issue with my floor mat was taken care of without any hassle, which showed me that he genuinely cares about his customers even after the sale. Throughout the process, I always felt like Tae was looking out for me rather than just trying to make a sale. That's not something you find very often when buying a car. If you're considering buying a Toyota, I highly recommend asking for Tae at Toyota of Lake City. His professionalism, honesty, communication, and commitment to customer service made this one of the best car-buying experiences I've had. Thank you, Tae, for going above and beyond!

Time for an updated review…read more I bought my 2010 Toyota Corolla from Toyota of Lake City back in August 2009, so coming up on 17 years of reliable, trustworthy, professional service. With the exception of tires, all of my parts & service were via this location. I was due for a routine LOF, perhaps an air filter, headlight replacement, and had a wiper question. However, my weekly emails for a month went unanswered to my long time service advisor and the service online scheduler was wonky. So today (6/25/26) I called his direct line and another individual answered. Upon further inquiry, I was told my service advisor had retired. No wonder, no followup was enabled. First, I recommend to update or disconnect an inactive business email address. Second, check the online service appointment system. Third, provide the courtesy of notifying via email or mailed flyer of this change and give the name & contact information of the new & current Gold Team service advisor. My previous longtime service advisor & team had provided consistent, thorough, professional service that earned my trust. Plus learned that a basic LOF would cost $184.55. Ouch. I switched from a long term tire company to another one earlier this year based on reviews and others testimonials. Guess it's time to also forge ahead and find another place at the minimum for an LOF and for comprehensive service. Aligning with current overall Yelp posts, going from my previous 5 star to a 3 star.
