My situation, I have a mortgage on a house I live in, one on a condo I rent, wife, child, and an NY and NJ return. Last year I went to another guy that charged me 450 which I suppose is reasonable but I was trying to see if I could cut costs a bit. Short answer is I didn't. This guy charged me 700 dollars! Can you believe it? Not to mentioned I got almost nothing in terms of money back. I always had to initiate phone calls for follow up. Despite him telling me it would take 3 days, it took closer to 2 weeks and would've taken longer if I didn't follow up. He tells me he should've charged me more..... On top of that he was extremely condescending making several comments such as, 'I know you're a smart guy.. I know you're following me.. You're educated..' He also threatened me that I could get audited due to last years return which I wouldn't think beneath him to report me. My feeling is that I'm a young (32) minority making a good amount of money so he feels he can speak to me that way...I disliked him so much I'm creating his business profile on yelp. I'm never going to this guy and hope that all my friends and family stay clear of this bigot thief.
