Pedrani Law provided an exceptionally comforting experience during the estate planning process for…read moremy parents. Upon contacting Keith Pedrani at Pedrani Law, our primary objective was to establish a Revocable Trust to circumvent probate proceedings in the future. He included Power of Attorney, Wills, Advanced Directives, and more in the Estate Planning package. Keith's immediate and reassuring demeanor during the complimentary phone consultation with my parents alleviated any concerns we may have had. Subsequently, we promptly signed the agreement, and Keith diligently managed the entire process. Given my residence in Tennessee, I was apprehensive about conducting this procedure remotely with my elderly parents. However, Keith and his team demonstrated remarkable diligence throughout the process, providing guidance and assistance to my parents in New Jersey. Notably, his staff, especially Jackie, even went as far as to deliver documents to my parents when they encountered printer issues. Keith ensured that we comprehended and felt at ease with every aspect of the process, from the initial consultation to the signing ceremony. He provided unwavering support and effectively managed all the necessary tasks. His sense of urgency and empathy were appreciated. Keith's extensive knowledge and ability to explain complex legal concepts in layman's terms are truly commendable. While I have had prior experiences with lawyers, I have never encountered one as responsive, compassionate, and patient as Keith. The assurance that my parents were in capable and caring hands brought me immense relief. I highly recommend Keith and his law firm and have encouraged my friends and family to reach out to him for guidance as well.

The gist: I met with the attorney for maybe 1 hour and 15 minutes total--~15 minutes beyond the initial consultation, received a fee contract for the work recommended, and traded a number of emails (primarily with their "Caregiver Advocate") over a period of several months as my family tried to understand what was urgent and what was not. After determining our ultimate needs, I eliminated work from the original scope. Instead of adjusting their fees downward, they increased them by ~40%. Less work, more cost? Finally, I did sign the original agreement (which included the work that I did not need) and the firm refused to honor it.
